Yet I remember, once I shared with you.
The rain falls lightly, tapping on the window glass,
I remember, you said – “Be quiet, I am here.”

Today that silence feels lonely,
Your voice is not there, only silence is heard.
I look at the path I walk,
No one comes, only the wind comes and touches my ears.

When evening falls, the light decreases,
That is when I feel your absence the most.
The little stories you tell
Have now become my silent companions.
The night grows, the stars shine in the sky,
I don’t know if you are here or not – but I still look for you.
I fall asleep lightly towards dawn,
Then I feel – “ I know you will return right now.”

A few words about poetry:-

Poetry is an easy way to express your thoughts. What is difficult to say can be written in a rhythmic manner. That's why I write poetry, expressing my feelings, sorrows, pride, or dreams through the play of words. I enjoy sharing poetry on this platform, because many people read, feel, and love it here.
