27 Village Heads in Bireuen Regency, Simultaneously Inaugurated by the Regent.

The Regent of Bireuen, H Mukhlis, ST, simultaneously inaugurated 27 elected village heads (keuchik) for the 2025–2031 period from 10 sub-districts in Bireuen Regency. In the inauguration, the Regent emphasized the importance of transparency and accountability in the management of village funds (gampong) to improve community welfare.

The inauguration and taking of the oath of office of the keuchik were held in the Old Hall of the Bireuen District Secretariat, Thursday (3/7/2025) afternoon, which was marked by the signing of the minutes and the symbolic installation of office signs to Mutasir (Keuchik Gampong Cot Baroh, Kutablang) and Fadli, M.T. (Keuchik Gampong Blang Pala, South Peusangan).

"This position is not an easy mandate. We hope that the keuchik can devote their energy, thoughts, and attention to managing village funds well, transparently, and accountably," said Regent Mukhlis in his speech.

He emphasized that the Bireuen Regency Government has a strong commitment to support the implementation of Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages. One of them is by issuing a Regent Regulation at the beginning of each year as a reference in managing village finances.

We have appealed to all village heads to create budget information billboards as a form of transparency to the community," he explained. He also emphasized the importance of understanding regulations so that the management of village funds does not cause legal problems.

The Regent also expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the previous village heads for their dedication and contribution to village development. The following are the names of the 27 village heads who were inaugurated:

Samalanga District: Mulia (Pulo Baroh Village), Rizki Muhammad Fadil (Namploh Baro Village), Misbahuddin (Lincah Village) and Muhammad Zubir, A.Md (Ulee Ue Village).

Simpang Mamplam District: Husaini (Ie Rhob Timu Village), Lukman (Ie Rhob Glumpang Village), Munawir (Blang Mane Dua Meunasah Village), Muhammad Iqbal (Meunasah Dayah Village), Syahmir (Arongan Village), Chairul Rizki, A.Md.,Kep (Gampong Pulo Drien), Misbahuddin (Gampong Curee Tunong), and Husaini (Gampong Cot Trieng).

Peudada District: Azhar (Gampong Meunasah Alue), Adnan (Gampong Lawang), and Mursal, S.Hum (Gampong Meunasah Blang).

Term District: Helmindra (Gampong Pulo U).

Kutablang District: Mutasir (Gampong Cot Baroh)

South Peusangan District: Fadli Peusan, M.T (Gampong Blang Pala)

Gandapura District: Afwan, S.Pd (Gampong Tanjong Bungong), M. Muhajir, A.Md., Kep (Gampong Lingka Kuta), Ahmad Syauqi (Gampong Pulo Gisa), Hasyimi (Gampong Ceubo), Munazar, S.P (Gampong Gurugok), and Fadhli, A.Ma (Gampong Cot Puuk).

Kuala District: Agus Salim (Gampong Cot Laga Sawa).

Jeumpa District: Ridwan (Gampong Cot Bada).

Peulimbang District: Aiyub (Gampong Puuek).

The Regent closed his direction with a meaningful Acehnese cultural message:

"Adat is like Po Teumeureuhom, Hukom is like Syiah Kuala, Qanun is like Putroe Phang, Reusam is like Uleebalang."

"Let us maintain the dignity of village leadership by upholding customs, enforcing the law, and defending the interests of the people," he concluded.
