Bireuen Regent H. Mukhlis officially inaugurated the Sanggar Meuligoe Jeumpa management for the 2025-2030 period on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, in the courtyard of the Regent's Hall.

The Sanggar Meuligoe Jeumpa management includes: Chairperson Sadriah, SKM MKM; Deputy Chairperson Zamzami, SPd MM; Secretary Mursyidin, M.Sos; Treasurer Cut Ferawati, SKM MKM; and several other administrators from various fields.

In her remarks, Sanggar Meuligoe Jeumpa Chairperson Sadriah stated that today is not just an inauguration ceremony. Today marks the beginning of a shared commitment to preserving and revitalizing the cultural values, arts, and local wisdom that have long been an integral part of the identity of the Acehnese people, especially in Bireuen.

Bireuen, as a regency rich in history and tradition, possesses extraordinary arts and cultural potential. These include traditional dances such as the Ranup Lampuan Dance, Rabbani Wahid Dance, Rapa'i Pulot Geurimpheng Dance, Seudati Dance, and Peumulia Jame Dance, as well as music, poetry, folk games, traditional clothing, and oral literature that live within the community.

He also stated that this studio exists not only to perform on stages, but also to educate, inspire, and foster a love for their own culture among the younger generation.

"I hope that all administrators can work together in a spirit of camaraderie, prioritizing deliberation, and upholding Acehnese cultural values. This studio can build synergy with the local government, schools, youth communities, and other artists to expand the positive influence of culture within the community," he said.

Meanwhile, the Regent of Bireuen, H. Mukhlis, as the patron of the Sanggar Meuligoe Jeumpa, hopes that under his leadership for the 2025–2030 period, the studio will become more active in creating works, holding performances, and participating in arts and cultural activities at the regional, national, and even international levels.

I would like to thank the previous management for their dedication and devotion. And congratulations to the newly inaugurated Sanggar Meuligoe Jeumpa management.

"The Bireuen Regency Government will always be ready to work together to support arts and cultural preservation programs and activities," said the Regent.
