Several schools from various educational levels participating in the lively cultural parade commemorating the 80th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence received prizes from the Bireuen Regency Government on Monday, August 18, 2025, in the courtyard of the Bireuen Regent's Hall, Aceh Province.
The prizes were presented by the Regent and Deputy Regent and the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) to participants in the drum band parade and cultural parade from early childhood education (PAUD/TK), elementary school (SD/MI), junior high school (SMP/MTs), and senior high school (SMA/SMK/MA).
For the PAUD/TK/RA level, first place went to the UPTD (Ultimate Children's Unit) for Pertiwi Batee Kureng State Kindergarten, second place went to Kartika Kindergarten, third place went to Keumala Bhayangkari Kindergarten, first place went to Harapan Bunda Peudada Kindergarten, second place went to Jasa Bunda Juli Kindergarten, and third place went to Ar-Raihan Jeumpa Kindergarten.
At the elementary school level, first place went to the UPTD SDN 1 Bireuen, second place went to the UPTD SDN Tahfiz Aisyiah, third place went to the UPTD SDN 4 Bireuen, first runner-up went to the UPTD SDN 6 Kuala, second runner-up went to the UPTD SDN 3 Bireuen, and third runner-up went to the UPTD SDN 13 Bireuen.
At the junior high school level, first place went to MTsN 1 Bireuen, second runner-up went to MTsN 4 Bireuen, third runner-up went to MTsN 9 Bireuen, first runner-up went to the UPTD SMPN 1 Juli, second runner-up went to MTsN 5 Bireuen, and third runner-up went to the UPTD SMPN 1 July.
At the senior high school level, vocational high schools (SMK), and Islamic senior high schools (MA) won first place: SMAN 1 Bireuen, second runner-up went to MAN 2 Bireuen, third runner-up went to SMAN 2 Bireuen, first runner-up went to SMAN 1 Peusangan Selatan, second runner-up went to SMKN 1 Bireuen, and third runner-up went to SMAN 1 Makmur.
The drum band parade in the brass category was won by only one participant, the UPTD SMPN 1 Bireuen. The non-brass drum band parade won first place for MTsN 1 Bireuen, second place for MTsN 4 Bireuen, third place for MTsN 9 Bireuen, and first runner-up for the UPTD SMPN 1 Juli, explained the Chairman of the Jury, Musyidin, when announcing the winners.
The Chairperson of the 80th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia's Independence in Bireuen Regency, Hanafiah, SP CGCAE FRMP, stated in her report that all series of activities commemorating the Republic of Indonesia's Independence Day were carried out well, smoothly, and successfully.
"We also express our gratitude to the officers, invitees, participants, and the organizing committee for their attendance and participation, ensuring the smooth and orderly execution of this series of activities," she said.
The Regent of Bireuen, H. Mukhlis, in his remarks, stated, "On behalf of the Bireuen Regency Government and the community, we would like to express our gratitude." "I express my congratulations, gratitude, pride, and special appreciation to the instructors, coaches, teachers, parents/guardians, and members of the Paskibraka (Flag Flag Raising Team) for carrying out their duties and responsibilities well," he said.
