Türkiye Distributes 37 Qurban Animals to Bireuen Community, Regent Present During Slaughtering Process.
Bireuen Regent H. Mukhlis, S. T successfully lobbied the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV) so that the humanitarian institution from Turkey increased the number of qurban cows for Bireuen Regency from the original 30 to 37.
This success shows Regent Mukhlis' commitment to expanding the reach of assistance for his community, especially in the momentum of Eid al-Adha 1446 Hijriah.
Despite his busy schedule, Mukhlis still went directly to coordinate the slaughtering and distribution process of 37 qurban cows from TDV. He even participated in slaughtering the qurban animals in several locations, ensuring that everything ran orderly and was distributed evenly to people in need throughout Bireuen Regency.
The presence of sacrificial animal assistance from TDV through humanitarian diplomacy established by the Regent of Bireuen was welcomed by various elements of society.
The success of the implementation of this sacrifice cannot be separated from the collaboration between the Bireuen Regency Government, the Global Meutuwah Foundation, and the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation.
Mukhlis hopes that cooperation with international institutions such as TDV can continue for other programs that have a real impact, both in the fields of education, religion, and humanity.
TDV or the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation is a non-governmental religious foundation from Turkey that was established in 1975. In addition to being widely known for providing scholarships for religious studies, this foundation is also active in various social, religious, cultural, and educational sectors.
Every year, TDV carries out the Qurban Turk program which involves the distribution of sacrificial animals to various countries, including Indonesia. In Bireuen, this program runs through cooperation with the Global Meutuwah Foundation (GMF), a social institution initiated by a group of Acehnese youth.
