100 Underprivileged Children in Bireuen Participate in Free Mass Circumcision.
The Aceh Oil and Gas Management Agency (BPMA) together with PT. Aceh Energy with the support of the Bireuen Regency Government held a free mass circumcision for 100 underprivileged children through the Geutanyoe Asuh Tambatan Atê Program in 2025, at the Juli Health Center, Tuesday (6/24/2025).
General Manager of PT. Aceh Energy, Suhaimi Oesman Bany, represented by Mochammad Adam Sabar in his remarks at the opening of the event said that this activity is a real manifestation of collaboration between the oil and gas industry sector and the local government in realizing sustainable social development.
"Khitan Ceria Aneuk Bireuen 2025 not only aims to improve children's health, but also to encourage improving the quality of public health as a whole," said Mochammad Adam.
In addition, he said, it is also to strengthen positive relations and synergies between the company and the Bireuen Regency government and the community.
Meanwhile, the Regent of Bireuen, H. Mukhlis, ST, represented by the Deputy Regent, Ir, H. Razuardi, MT in his speech expressed his appreciation to BPMA and PT Aceh Energy for implementing mass circumcision activities for 100 children in Bireuen Regency.
He hopes that this activity will be the first step to support the cooperation process between BPMA and PT Aceh Energy with the Bireuen Regency government.
"Hopefully in the future BPMA and PT. Aceh Energy will synergize more with the Bireuen Regency government through other community programs to support community development in Bireuen Regency," concluded Razuardi.
This activity is part of the company's commitment to supporting the fulfillment of the right to reproductive health of the community, especially in the work area of PT. Aceh Energy.
In addition, circumcision is also part of the implementation of Islamic Law which is highly prioritized in the Aceh region.
The mass circumcision activity was carried out for 2 days, namely June 24, 2025 at the Juli District Health Center, for children from Jeumpa District, Juli District, and Kota Juang District as many as 63 children.
And on June 25, 2025 at the Cot Ijue District Health Center, for children from Kuala, Peusangan, and South Peusangan Districts as many as 37 children.
The opening of the activity was attended by Bireuen DPRK Member, Husnidar, Assistant for Economy and Development of the Bireuen Regional Secretary, Dailami, S.Hut., M.Ling, Head of Bappeda, Bob Mizwar, S.STP., M.Si Head of the Health Service, dr. Irwan, representatives of the Bureuen Police, representatives of the Bireuen 0111 Kodim, Assistants, Sub-district Heads and other Forkopimda elements.
