Bireuen Ministry of Religious Affairs Holds Blood Donation Action, Head of Aceh Ministry of Religious Affairs Regional Office Appreciates the Activity.
Head of the Aceh Provincial Ministry of Religious Affairs Regional Office, Drs H Azhari M Si, expressed his high appreciation for the blood donation activity organized by the Bireuen Regency Ministry of Religious Affairs Office through the Regional Management of the Indonesian Religious Extension Workers Association (PD IPARI) Bireuen.
This social action is part of an effort to enliven the Islamic New Year 1 Muharram 1447 Hijriah. This blood donation activity was held thanks to the collaboration between the Bireuen Ministry of Religious Affairs and the Blood Transfusion Unit (UTD) of the dr Fauziah Hospital. It took place in the central square of the capital city of Bireuen, Tuesday, June 24, 2025.
Azhari explained that the Aceh Ministry of Religious Affairs Regional Office and its staff had indeed instructed various activities to welcome and enliven the Islamic New Year, starting from 1 to 10 Muharram 1447 Hijriah.
"Many Kemenag programs have an impact, such as providing assistance to the poor and orphans. Alhamdulillah, today's blood donation activity in Bireuen is extraordinary," said the Head of the Regional Office while reviewing the location.
Furthermore, he emphasized that the benefits of this blood donation activity were directly felt by the community who needed blood transfusions, and this is an integral part of the "Kemenag Berdampak" program.
"We hope that similar programs can be held in 23 districts/cities in Aceh during the period 1 to 10 Muharram with various activities that can be carried out in each region," he added.
I hope that this activity can continue and its benefits can really be felt directly by the community in Bireuen and Aceh in general," hoped the Head of the Aceh Kemenag Regional Office.
On that occasion, the Head of the Bireuen Regency Ministry of Religion Office, Dr. Zulkifli S Ag M Pd who also accompanied the Head of the Regional Office also expressed his hope that this blood donation activity could provide broad benefits to the community.
"This blood donation action is a form of our concern for the community. Hopefully a drop of blood donated today can be a lifeline for those in need," he said.
He added that this activity is planned to be an annual routine agenda within the Bireuen Ministry of Religion. "God willing, we will continue to carry out activities like this every year," concluded Zulkifli.
Meanwhile, the Head of PD IPARI Bireuen, Drs Muzakir said that this blood donation activity was attended by dozens of ASN, extension workers, and the general public and managed to collect 47 bags of blood.
