Head of Aceh Provincial High Prosecutor's Office Launches Adhyaksa Cares for Stunting in Jangka District, Bireuen.
Head of Aceh Provincial High Prosecutor's Office (Kajati), Yudi Triadi, SH MH accompanied by Bireuen Regent, H Mukhlis, ST together with the Regional Head Leadership Forum (Forkopimda), launched the Adhyaksa Cares for Stunting program, Friday, 4/7/2025, morning which took place at the Jangka District soccer field, Bireuen Regency, Aceh Province.
In the series of inaugurations of the program, in addition to the unveiling of the program board, there was also the handover of additional food (PMT) for toddlers and pregnant women, as well as a review of the examination site for stunting toddlers, pregnant women with Chronic Energy Deficiency (KEK).
Bireuen Regent, H Mukhlis, ST in the event attended by the Chairperson of the Adhyaksa Dharmakarini Association (IAD) of the High Prosecutor's Office, Mrs. Juraida Yudi Triadi, Chairperson of the Bireuen TP-PKK, Sadriah, SKM MKM, Assistant for Civil and State Administration of the Aceh High Prosecutor's Office, Mayhardy Indra Putra, SH MH, as well as officials and related elements said.
Prevention and handling of stunting really requires the involvement of all parties, because stunting is caused by multiple factors. One of the interventions that can be done to reduce stunting is through improving nutrition by providing additional food for toddlers with nutritional status problems.
The launching of Adhyaksa Peduli Stunting is also a form of concern for accelerating the prevention and handling of stunting targeting Todduta (Toddlers Under 2 Years), pregnant women with Chronic Energy Deficiency (KEK) for 6 months starting July - December 2025.
"Our shared hope is that by synergizing with each other, the problem of the double burden of malnutrition can be resolved immediately, to achieve Indonesia Emas 2045," said the Bireuen Regent.
Aceh High Prosecutor, Yudi Triadi, SH MH said, the problem of stunting is not only a problem in Aceh, but also a long-term national challenge concerning the future of Indonesian children. In line with that, the Aceh High Prosecutor's Office is called to actively contribute.
Since 2022, we have been running various programs, and the establishment of the Attorney General's Office's Pratama clinic provides services to 700-800 patients per month, including BPJS patients. The main target is children aged 6-24 months who are classified as stunted, pregnant women who experience Chronic Energy Deficiency (KEK).
Through the Civil and State Administration (Datun) sector, the Bireuen District Attorney's Office together with the State Attorney will assist in optimizing the use of village funds, supporting the prevention of stunting.
"We hope that village officials, heads of Health Centers, health workers, PKK cadres, all stakeholders are actively involved in managing nutrition houses and strengthening Posyandu," the High Prosecutor hopes.
In the next six months, monitoring of child growth and development will be carried out, this requires cross-sector coordination, assistance will continue to be carried out so that this program runs effectively and on target, hopes the Aceh High Prosecutor.
