Hundreds of Doctors from all over Aceh Enliven the Fun Walk in Bireuen.

Hundreds of doctors and their extended families from 23 regencies/cities, Sunday (22/6/2025) took part in a fun walk around Bireuen City and continued with a coffee morning at the Bireuen Regent's Hall.

The fun walk, which was also attended by the heads of the Bireuen Regency Work Units (SKPK), the community and various other elements, was released by the Deputy Regent of Bireuen, Ir H Razuardi MT at the gate of the regent's hall.

Since 07.00 WIB, the courtyard of the hall was filled with doctors who had just attended the Muswil in the hall of the Umuslim Faculty of Medicine, Peusangan Bireuen.

In addition, hundreds of doctors who work in various private hospitals and the dr Fauziah Bireuen Regional Hospital and their families took part in the fun walk. The heads of SKPK, a number of sub-district heads and other elements also enlivened the fun walk which was guided by the Traffic Unit and assisted by members of the Bireuen Dansubdenpom.

Each participant began by registering with the committee and was given a coupon for a door prize draw with a prize of tens of millions. After touring the Bireuen area, the participants returned to the pendopo and had breakfast together.

The organizing committee of the activity, dr. Zumirda SpB FINASIS FICS said that after the meeting, there was an additional agenda, namely a leisurely walk and coffee with the management of the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) throughout Aceh.

"The fun walk was held by IDI and was also attended by the head of the Bireuen TP PKK or the wife of the Bireuen regent, the wife of the Bireuen deputy regent and various other elements together with the IDI extended family from 23 branches in Aceh," he said.

Another series of activities, he said, doctors and others also planted jeumpa trees in the regent's pendopo complex.

"We planted jeumpa trees, one of Aceh's typical flowers and a symbol of struggle," he said.

The fun walk is also part of the synergy between the Bireuen Branch of IDI and the Bireuen Regency Government with the wider community.

Hopefully, by implementing the agenda, it can be an example, become an encouragement, a unifier, together in advancing the health sector and the development of Aceh together in general and building Bireuen.

"The fun walk was also attended by the Rector of Umuslim, Dr. Marwan, Prof. Halus Satriawan from Umuslim, also present were the deans of the USK Medical Faculty, Dispora, sub-district heads and others," he said.
