Bireuen Deputy Regent Leads Flag Lowering Ceremony.
The Deputy Regent of Bireuen, Ir. H. Razuardi, MT, acted as the ceremony inspector at the flag-lowering ceremony to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia.
The ceremony, which took place in the Cot Gapu Bireuen Green Open Space (RTH) on Sunday, August 17, 2025, proceeded smoothly without any problems. The ceremony proceeded successfully, with eight flag-lowering officers successfully lowering the flag.
Acting as the ceremony commander were First Inspector Mohd. Faris Idris, S.Tr. K., MH; the ceremony officer was First Lieutenant AKP Soeharto, SH; and the Flag Raising Team Commander was First Inspector Ridwan, S.E. (Head of Unit 1 of the Bireuen Police Department)
The Flag Raising Team (Paskibraka) members tasked with lowering the flag from Group Eight were Aqil Shodiq Al-Mufid, a student at SMAN 1 Bireuen, as the Commander of Group Eight.
Furthermore, Fawas Firja Tullah, a student at SMAN 1 Bireuen, raised the red and white flag. Syauki Adib, a student at SMAN 2 Peusangan, raised the red and white flag. Raisya Fajri, a student at SMAN 2 Peusangan, was entrusted with carrying the flag tray.
After the red and white flag was successfully lowered, Raisya Fajri carried it to the podium to be presented to the Ceremony Inspector, the Deputy Regent of Bireuen, Razuardi.
After successfully completing their task, the 35-member Bireuen Regency Flag Raising Team (Paskibraka) of 2025 performed a prostration of gratitude.
The touching moment was accompanied by tears from both Paskibraka members and their parents in attendance.
This moment also served as an expression of gratitude for the happiness, pride, and blessings bestowed by Allah SWT, enabling them to carry out their duties successfully.
Furthermore, after the ceremony, the 35 members of the Paskibraka (Flag Troops) were led onto the field to perform a prostration of gratitude, met by their parents/guardians, and welcomed by the Deputy Regent and the Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda).
"The ceremony commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia today went smoothly and successfully. This means that the organizers, coaches, and all parties involved were able to collaborate effectively," said the Deputy Regent after the flag-lowering ceremony.
He also noted the successful collaboration between institutions and elements, which enabled today's flag-raising and flag-lowering ceremony to proceed successfully.
According to Razuardi, this demonstrates Bireuen's growing capacity for collaboration and must be maintained. "The Bireuen Regency Government, especially Regent H. Mukhlis, extends this honor to all parties," Razuardi concluded.
