KAHMI-FORHATI Management for the 2024-2029 Bireuen Period Inaugurated.

The Management of the Regional Assembly of the Islamic Student Association Alumni Corps (MD KAHMI) of Bireuen Regency for the 2024-2029 Period was officially inaugurated. The inauguration was led by the Coordinator of the Presidium of the Regional Assembly (Korpres MW) of KAHMI Aceh, Prof. Dr. H. Syamsul Rijal Sys. BA., M.Ag, at the Bireuen Regent's Pendopo, Friday (20/6/2025) evening.

The management that was inaugurated was the result of the 3rd Regional Conference (Musda) in June 2024 which was attended by all elements of the MD KAHMI and MD FORHATI Bireuen management. In the same place, the MD FORHATI Bireuen management was also inaugurated by the Coordinator of the FORHATI Aceh Presidium, Dr. Jamaliah, M.Pd.

In his speech, Syamsul Rizal, requested that KAHMI Bireuen, which comes from various disciplines, be able to answer the existing challenges. KAHMI cadres must become advocates and constructive pioneers, so that they can produce fresh ideas and concepts to move towards social, political, and economic change.

He invited MD KAHMI Bireuen to become a think tank by fostering innovation and being able to synergize with the local government.

"Because when the thinking of intellectuals stagnates, the contribution to development will also stagnate so that it can reduce the level of community welfare," Syamsul Rizal reminded.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Regent of Bireuen, Ir. H. Razuardi, MT, in his speech invited MD KAHMI Bireuen to collaborate and encourage improvements in every line of life for the people of Bireuen.

"We accept any input and support every idea and concept that can contribute to the development of Bireuen towards a better direction," said the former Regional Secretary of Aceh Tamiang.

Razuardi also invited KAHMI Bireuen to be able to advance the arts and culture in Bireuen which are the roots of ancestral heritage, so that they remain sustainable forever.

"We want Bireuen to have a cultural identity, but not outside the religious community as a city of santri," he said.

The inaugurated MD KAHMI Bireuen Daily Management consists of seven Presidium members. They consist of Asnawi, M.A.P, Muhammad Rizal, MA, Abdul Halim Mubary, M.Kom.I, Magfirah, S.Kom, Munawir, S.Kom, Agus Irwanto, and Asfian. Furthermore, the General Secretary, Agussalim, S.Pd.I, M.I.Kom, and the General Treasurer, Azhar Ib, S.Pd and also inaugurated the heads of divisions, deputy general secretaries, deputy treasurers, and divisions.

Meanwhile, the Coordinator of the Presidium of the Aceh Forhati Regional Assembly, Dr. Jamaliah, MPd, in the same place also inaugurated the Daily Management of MD Forhati Bireuen. Presidium, Rahmi Jafar, S.Pd.I, Sri Rahmani, S.Pd, Novi Safriani S.Pd, Erlina Sari, ST, and Asmaul Husna, SE. For the General Secretary, Lizar Wati, S.Pd.I, and the General Treasurer, Betty Zahara, S.Pd.I.

The ceremonial event was also accompanied by the provision of assistance in the form of school supplies to 50 orphans and underprivileged children at elementary and MI levels from a number of schools in Bireuen Regency.

"The funds for this social package come from donations from the extended family of KAHMI, FORHATI, and HMI Bireuen as well as assistance from a number of parties who support this program," said the Coordinator of the MD KAHMI Bireuen Presidium, Asnawi.

The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Regent, Ir Razuardi, MT, former Regent of Bireuen, Drs Mustafa A Glanggang, Chairperson of the Bireuen PKK Movement, Sadriah, the Presidium of the MW KAHMI Aceh, members of the DPRK, Representatives of the Kajari, the Presidium of Forhati Aceh, Coordinator of the Presidium MD Lhokseumawe-North Aceh, Dr Dahlan A Rahman, M.SI, Forkopimda Bireuen and a number of other invited guests.
