Amateur Boxing Practice at Lingion, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon
Hello, everyone! I hope everyone is in good health and heart filled with happiness.
As for me, I am doing well by God's grace. I just spent the whole night last night at my work and just woke up from sleep today. It was tiring but I know I had to survive all the hardships to make ends meet. Anyway , today I will be sharing about the practice I and my amateur boxer had along with the Lingion boxing team; I and their coach agreed that we go to their place for a sparring to strengthen our boxers for the coming fights.
And because I was the coach, I am also their driver and my phone was the one they use for photograph and not one of the pictures included me. haha! It was funny but I cherish this moment I had with these kids; I had been an amateur boxer since I was seven years old and the sport was one of my core memories; I was good at it but in college, my father sent me to Manila to study after he found out that I was on the cheer leading team, he though I was gay, he did not listen to me and instead listened to his friend who told it all and twisted the story.
After three years, I came back and decided to get back to boxing but I found the love of my life and we soon married. Plans diverted but now I am still enjoying amateur boxing , not to mention that my wife once told me to stop but later on, supported me and advised me to become a referee and judge and now I am coaching kids on the same sports division.
I hope that these kids will be successful not only in boxing but also in life one day.
