Beautiful Phuket | Wrapping Up

Wrapping up the article series on our three days in Phuket, I would like to share my overall experience.

Was it Worth It?

Of course! Our stay in Phuket was absolutely worth it. Even though it was the off-season, we still had the best experience. As first-time international travelers, it wasn’t very difficult for us to adapt to the environment and culture.

Phuket is filled with mountains, beautiful beaches, and a laid-back vibe. The food was super delicious, and I loved the flavors of the same dishes compared to the ones we had in Bangkok.

Prices for other things like clothes and souvenirs can be more expensive compared to Bangkok.

Visiting in the Off-Season?

As we heard, air ticket prices are a bit lower than in the peak season. We prepared for rain and brought raincoats and other essentials. But I must say, the sea waves are quite strong, especially in the evenings and during storms—so take caution at your own risk.

There was still quite a crowd during the off-season as well. I can’t imagine how it must look during peak season!

How we prepraed

How Was the Accommodation?

The location was very convenient, close to Patong Beach and also to Malin Plaza. Breakfast was excellent, and we were able to spend the days hassle-free.

How Were the Locals?

They were quite neutral but really supportive when needed, especially the drivers.

Local Food We Tried?

We tried Pad Thai, Thai Chicken Fried Rice, Basil Chicken Rice, Thai Cashew Chicken Rice and some two dishes that I am not able to recall name, Coconut Ice Cream, and Plenty of Fresh Juices.

Would We Visit Again?

I would definitely love to go back again.
