My Kitten Family| mother's love | part 2
There was a mother cat that used to walk around my house for more than six months. Since there were no other cats in our home, I sometimes gave her food. About two or three months ago, I noticed she was pregnant. She often tried to enter our house, maybe looking for a safe place to give birth to her babies. However, my mother wasn’t happy about it because she is very scared of cats and dogs due to the fear of rabies.
The cat kept trying to come inside, so I had to take steps to stop her from entering. Then, about three weeks ago, I found out that she had given birth, but we didn’t know where the kittens were. She came to our house every day asking for food. It was the rainy season, and we were worried about the kittens, but still, we couldn’t find them.
One morning, my husband and mother finally found the kittens under a flower plant. They were cold and shivering. We quickly brought them inside, placed them in a basin, and kept them safely in our old dog’s kennel. It was a warm and safe place for them.
Now, it has been more than three weeks, and the kittens have become part of our family. Every day, while I check on the birds in our garden, I also look after the kittens. They have grown a lot and are very cute. Their eyes look like tiny glass balls. I’ve become so attached to them and now I’m thinking about what I should do next to care for them better.
I never planned for this, but now I can proudly say that I have a kitten family.
