Robbed My House | A Sad Story | 5% to Sl Charity

Hello everyone... Today I'm going to tell you about an unexpected incident which I had to face. Yesterday was not a good day for me. Because of the covid-19 pandemic, we are staying at homes. Because of my job I staying at a rented house near Colombo with my family members. My home village is situated in the Kandy district. We went there only for vacations. Due to the current situation of the country we didn't go there for more than six months. We gave our home's extra keys to my father's younger brother. His home is about 300 meters far away from our house.

Last week his daughter & son were tested positive for Covid-19. So they had to self-quarantine at their house. My sister & brother were taken to the quarantine center. Because of this incident, they were unable to take a look at our house during the last week. The day before yesterday I got a call from Bappa & he told me that their water pump is not working. I told him several methods to check the pump. According to them, I recognized there was some issue with the impeller of the water pump. To rectify it he needs to take the pump to a technician. But they are in a self-quarantine period. So unable to go out from their home or cannot take someone to their home for the pump repair. So I asked them to go to our house & use water there. Yesterday they went to our home to use the water.

At that time they identified that our house was robbed. Yesterday I got a call from punchi amma & I got this bad news. According to the 42 inches LED TV, 5.1 Surround sound system & 5Kg rice cooker is missing. It seems like the robbers enter the home by removing the roof tiles in the kitchen. I still didn't tell this my father because he is a heart patient. Bappa will go to the police station to do a complaint regarding this robbery after his quarantine period ends tomorrow morning. I'm pretty sure that a well-known person of ours should be involved with this robbery. They planned at a perfect time to robbed the house. We are very far from our home & our relatives are also in quarantine period. It means no one is coming to secure the house. So robbers took advantage of it.
