We feel the physical pain when we are injured or physically damaged intentionally. In those situations, we think about what if we can't feel this physical pain. Specifically, I got that feeling after a few hours of operation. As anesthesia kinda kicks in, you start to feel the pain of cuts. But we should understand it's a safety item in our body to feel the pain. For example, you won't know whether you stepped on a piece of glass if you don't feel the pain until you see the blood.

But it would be a kinda superhero kinda situation if you don't feel pain. But of course, you have to treat the injuries and you should have an added layer of awareness to survive from small stuff. Well, we meet this kind of guy in the movie, "Novocaine". It is an #action #comedy #movie which was released in March this year. The movie stars Jack Quaid, Amber Midthunder, and Ray Nicholson as main characters.

Nathan Caine works as an Assistant Manager at a Trust Fund Union in San Diego. For others, he seems shy and protective. He won't go for lunch or dinner with others. He only eats liquid stuff like coffee or a milkshake. And he has never been in a relationship. He just came home from work and plays video games with Roscoe, who got to know from the game.

One day at work, when Nathan went to prepare a coffee, Sherry, a cashier at the place, accidentally burned his hand, which led to a conversation. Typically, Nathan struggles to make a conversation even though he feels like Sherry likes her. She even asked Nathan to go for lunch, but he initially denied, but accepted afterwards, quite the rescue.

Nathan, as usual, ordered a milkshake, and Sherry ordered a pie. Sherry told him to eat a piece of pie, but he refused. And that led to revealing his secret. He told Sherry that he doesn't feel pain and how he went through in life with it. Sherry was cool with it, and she wanted him to push his limits as she was kinda falling in love with him.

Things went well between them, and one day, a group of thieves with guns disguised as Santas broke into the bank and forced the Manager to reveal the combination for the safe, but he didn't. Since he saw the face of one of the thieves, the manager was shot to death.

And then the thieves called for the Assistant Manager, Nathan Caine. He also refused to reveal the combination, and that's when a thief pointed a gun at Sherry. Blinded by love, Nathan told the combination, and the thieves escaped with money and Sherry as a hostage.

On the way, the thieves shot at policemen who came to the bank using the advantage of the hostage situation. All the policemen were shot. Thieves left with money and Sherry. Now Nathan can't wait until the police arrive. So he follows the cars, and what's about to happen it's up to you to find out.

This movie is highly enjoyable with intense action sequences blended with humor generated as Nathan won't feel the pain by the punches. It's a bit bloody, but it's worth the time.
