Sheikh Russell park In Narayanganj (Bangladesh)

Sheikh Russell Park is one of the most visited places in the city of Narayanganj district, it is located at 258, 1400 Deowbog, Pakka Road, Narayanganj. People come here almost every day and there is also a beautiful road system to walk around the park. Many people come there for morning walks.

Beautifully decorated lighting inside the park

At one time, this park was an abandoned water body, but the mayor of Narayanganj City Corporation, Selina Hayat Ivy, excavated and renovated the lake in 2011 and built a park. It was built entirely with the funds of Narayanganj City Corporation and about 57 crore 67 lakh taka was spent there.

However, this park is on an area of 18 acres. There is a huge lake there, about 670 meters long and 75 meters wide. The atmosphere there is very beautiful from day to night, and at night, the park is completely illuminated with different types of lights. There are different types of trees on the lake with lights in each tree, so it is a perfect place to walk there at night and enjoy beautiful moments.

The beautiful bridge over the lake has increased its beauty, but since the bridge is a little round, the lighting in the bridge also looks round. Looking at the lake from the bridge at night, you can see a beautiful view where the light of the lights from both sides falls on the water, which further enhances the beauty of the lake.

There is a floating restaurant in the lake.

On the other hand, there is a small floating restaurant on the lake, but this restaurant is currently closed, when you look at it from a distance, it seems to be peaceful for the eyes. The park is more beautiful inside than it is outside, surprisingly, no ticket is required to enter this park and this park is open to everyone 24 hours a day.

There are 6 sitting place visitors to spend their leisure time, I have taken a picture of one of them. I find it more interesting to see because of the lake and the lighting with the sitting place . There are a lot of things in 18 acres of land.

There is a pond inside where the pond is full of lotus flowers. One of the favorite scenes of our countrymen is seeing lotus flowers in the pond at night. In addition to the pond, there is a playground, a swimming pool and a gymnasium.

There is a fast food shop there, the shop is also quite beautiful, crowded and well-organized, there is a table and chair arrangement for food next to the shop. However, despite the shops, there is a restaurant called Park Lounge, which has been newly renovated. Where birthdays, weddings and any events are organized and the restaurant is rented out. Apart from that, there are many things there including a board club, water garden skating zone. Although the park is open 24 hours a day, restaurants, water gardens, gymnasiums, and fast food outlets open and close at set times.

There are 3 ways to reach this park. Train, river path and bus. There is a river port and railway station next to the park, which will make it easy to reach from anywhere. Since it is within the city of Narayanganj, you can reach this park by rickshaw for only 40 taka. If you come by train and launch, you can reach this park by rickshaw for 30 taka.
