Diary August 11th | Day at DHA Park

I hope you are all well. I had a wonderful day today because the weather was very pleasant since morning. When I woke up in the morning, birds were chirping everywhere. When I stepped out of the room after waking up, I saw a dove that was incredibly beautiful. It was white in color and its color was as clear as flowing water. I have always loved the morning view because before we wake up, as soon as the sun rises, the chirping of birds makes the weather even more pleasant. It is not yet the season in Pakistan that the wind blows in the morning, but on a day when the wind blows, the day seems even more beautiful.

After walking for some time, I sat down at the breakfast table. My mother had placed a very heavy breakfast in front of me, but I didn't feel like eating anything, so I heated up the leftover biryani that we had made the night before and ate it.

The weather was great and we all had a heavy breakfast, so all of us cousins thought that now we should play a game. At first, everyone had planned to play Ludo, but later the plan changed to play some physical game. Then we started playing badminton in pairs of two, but it was not fun in pairs of two. Then we started playing in teams of three and three and enjoyed it a lot. Then one of my cousins started having dizziness because it is very hot in Pakistan at that time, so we stopped the game. I went to my mother. Our plan for today was that we would go to DHA Park and all this was already planned.

When I reached the kitchen, my mother was cleaning the kitchen because after everyone had breakfast, there were a lot of dishes to be washed in the kitchen. I helped her and washed the dishes. Then my mother made lemon water for everyone as a refreshment so that anyone who was feeling hot would get over it. In our Pakistan, it is believed that whenever you feel very hot, you must drink lemon water. It is beneficial in eliminating the heat.

It was now 12 noon, the weather wasn't that bad, so we all decided to go to the park. Some time passes during the journey, so we prepared three vehicles. The older and younger all family members were all going to the park.

I almost forgot to tell you what DHA is.

Basically, DHA is an area in Pakistan that has malls, parks, and different types of public places. It is a very large area and you rarely see anything like normal Pakistan in it, i.e. dirt, broken roads, garbage scattered here and there.

So this was a road-like pathway that we had to go through and then we could get to the park and it was so long that it took us five minutes to get through the car.

The route was very beautiful and the weather was pleasant, making me feel like I was walking in Canada, not Pakistan. 😂

We were unfamiliar with the roads here because we are travelers here.

Seeing this building, we thought that perhaps this building was a mosque. There were two people sitting outside it and they were eating something. The construction of the building is such that anyone can assume that this must be a mosque because most mosques in Pakistan have designs like this. But the people who were sitting outside and eating something on the grass told us that this was not a mosque, it was some other building, maybe a mall or a restaurant.

There were a lot of cars parked here, so my mind thought it must be mall.

This was the bus that carried passengers from one place to another.

When we entered, there was this counter in front of the door. Believe me, this park was so full of people that I couldn't peek inside the counter to see exactly what was going on inside. 🤣🥹

The more I was happy to go to this park, the more disappointed I was because it was specially designed for children. On one side there were swings and on the other side there were quite nice gardens with flowers and grass etc.

I don't mind taking swings, but the swings were the slides, seesaw, jumping jacks. But okayyyyy, this place with greenery was very beautiful and I liked it. We can do something about this spot.

There's pool in Pakistan as well that is surrounded from 4 sides and blocked nobody is allow to go inside it 😂 btw, I listen that they get lighten in the night.

After spending some time we went back to home. I was extremely happy I don't know why my mood was very good it's true nature always heal us. So after offering magribh prayer I decide to write today's diary for you.
