Yes, I think Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp, etc. can be taken seriously as news sources because a lot of news sources like CCN, BBC, TV, Aljazeera, etc. all have accounts with these social media platforms, and Also people do shared news from this news platform.

To avoid being fooled, the best thing we can do is to verify the authenticity of whatever news we see on these social media platforms. We shouldn't take news on social media that is published without a source seriously until we have verified the news and see if it is from a reputable news platform.

I use social media to learn something. Social media is my second school, and it is a very big community where I can learn something very easily at any time that I learn. My best social media platform for learning is YouTube, Instagram, and most of the time, Facebook.
