The Diary Game on (14-09-2025) My In-law's Child Dedication in Solid Rock King Church

I greet you specially my fellow steemians from @nspidoz i trust everything went well as plane. It is another day from the beautiful country of Nigeria and a productive state of Akwa Ibom in Uyo. I receive a call from my in-law on Monday 1st of September, 2025 about their child deception scheduled to hold on the 14/09/2025, on this day, I fill so different and i prepare myself to be blessed differently as i putting things together to attain the ceremony.

Before now, Child dedication was done strictly in a traditional way, where the father of a new born baby will carry his baby up to the sky and utter word of incantation to the God of the sky, and God of the Land, and then after that, pouring of libation and killing of vow and using the blood of the dead vow to rob on the baby and the mother for spiritual protection as they believe , some rich family then will kill a goat and uses the blood too to rob on the baby and the mother those signs and practice signify a lots of things as follows :

1. So that the baby and the mother will not sick
2. So that the baby will suck the mother breast without any bias
3. So that the mother's breast will produce milk for the baby
4. So that the baby will know their parent and is coming from, and many more.....

But in 21st Century where light has taken over everywhere and practice of Christianity, the old method of dedicating a child or child dedication changed and most of this practice is being copied from the Holy Bible as it is written in 1 Samuel 1:24-28 , Luke 2:22-32, Mark 10:13-16 and Matthew 19:13-15.

Celebration time

Child dedication on Sunday was one of its kind as people travel from far and near to attain knowing the blessing and the benefit of such celebration, as such, the church congregation was filled with thousands of people, members and non-members coming together in one accord to listen to the undiluted word of God and witness the child dedication. A lot of photo's where taken during and after the event, and Account was open for the child with the sum of 1,243,150 (One Million, two Hundred and forty three thousand, one hundred and fifty naira) to take care of the child welfare and other things as the church doctrine video. The wife of the founder and president of Solid Rock Kingdom Church was in attendance (@Eka John Okriko), and the Wife of the secretary General (@Rebecca Ukoenang)
