Wordsmiths Fiction Week 2: The Envelope | Steemit Challenge Season 24
Hello my dear Steemians,
Later that shift, while taking out the trash, Diego spotted something behind the ice machine. A plain white envelope. His name was written on the front in neat, block letters.
Diego was puzzled, how it is possible to have this letter, here on street and also having only one thing it is his name and how it is possible that now he has found that letter. His first idea and intension was to throw it away but on other hand as every of us we are curious species and we always want to find out what is there behind.
Diego took this en envelope to his Gas station, luckily it was nobody there now and he was able to open up and found a letter that was once again addressed to him with his name on the top.
Here what was in the letter:
Dear Diego,
If you are reading this letter that means that I have failed and was not able to fulfil the task that was given me by us, yes, you are reading correctly it I us, you and me we are both Diegos but we are from different times but also different realities. I am coming back from the future 30 years ahead. Oh, my God, how crazy that sounds and I know that you have now so many different thoughts and you want to get rid of it but please do not do that and just read.
By the way, I came to this time because I tried to change the development of events in different time but nothing did work, that is why I thought this time is the best.
You may not imagine and not able to understand but you will be able to pass your entry exams in the field of Physics, you are now preparing for that and it will be easy. When you will have your exam, it will be one member of jury he is elderly professor with deep and thoughtful eyes, he will offer you to help hos in his work and research. Please take it, because in the past or in my past I did not take that offer and now I am not able to save our time.
The research work involves time travel and it is indeed something that exists. Actually our Professor Dickson is already travelling and he just need someone who will be able to continue his work. Using that chance you and me, we travelled to past and played in casino, we earned a lot of money and this way we got some enemies those people will find you later and while they would like to hurt you by accident they will kill the Professor and also still his work. The time travelling will be out of control and that will cause total chaos.
I want to ask you to help us to save the future and prevent the chaos that is happening now. For that you only need to one thing, do not go to the exams then you are automatically fail and that will prevent the meeting with the Professor Dickson. It may sound weird and you might be very suspicious but please trust me that is best for everyone. Do not tell anyone, I wish you good luck!
