The Diary Game (Monday, July 21, 2025) Fulfilling Wedding Party Invitations and Power-Up Steemit Account

It's great that we can meet again. I'll share a story about The Diary Game, I hope my friends like it.

This morning, I was confused by a male customer who initially didn't clearly explain what service he needed at my business. First, he asked to have his child's photo printed, but the child wasn't with him, so I didn't know who to photograph. Then, he continued, explaining that several years ago, his child had his photo taken and printed at my business and asked me to find the file.

I explained that his son was now a teenager, and his face was different from when he was a child. It was impossible for a passport photo to be used for high school. He then searched his phone for the photo files, but after a long search, he couldn't find any of his son's photos. He briefly vented his frustration at his son for refusing to participate in the photo shoot, as the school required the passport photo for student identification purposes. Finally, the father went home disappointed, muttering to himself, without me knowing what he was saying.

A moment later, I enjoyed breakfast, my wife's home-cooked fried rice, and the breadfruit chips I'd bought with the takeaway coffee. My business was quiet that morning, with few customers. While I ate, I watched the latest news on global developments, particularly the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

This afternoon, I was going to attend a wedding reception held at a local home in Cot Leupee Village. From July to the end of August, I had received numerous wedding invitations, which I attended. Like today's wedding invitation, I had no excuse not to attend, as the family inviting me is related to my late father's family. Until last night, the groom's older brother repeatedly reminded me to attend his younger brother's wedding.

This is life in rural areas: attending a wedding is a social activity. If we don't attend, we are marked and will not be able to attend similar events in the future. I met many close relatives at this wedding, especially those who came from far away. We introduced ourselves to all the family members in attendance, strengthening our relationships. We also enjoyed the food prepared by the wedding hosts.

When I returned to my business, I received and served customers who wanted to print passport photos for their marriage certificate applications at the relevant government office. The number of passport photos required was very large, especially since both the bride and groom were arriving at the same time, which meant the number of photos to be printed doubled 😉😉. Hopefully, there will be other prospective brides and grooms who will trust my business with their passport photo printing needs for their marriage certificate applications. I also accepted an offer to purchase an internet data package voucher from a freelance canvasser to fulfill customer demand at my business.

While writing this daily story, I did a Power-Up on my steemit account.
