The taro field

The taro field (kochukhet) has become quite old, and as a result, the leaves of the taro plants have turned somewhat reddish. These taro plants will slowly be removed from here. Then new crops will be cultivated in this place. The current taro plants have aged, which is why they are still here and haven’t been removed yet. Gradually, the taro plants will be cleared away.

They have already turned red, and work will begin to remove them from here. After removing these plants, the area will be cleaned. The taro plants have grown quite large and look very nice. The reddish tint has made the plants appear beautiful. This taro field looks quite pleasing to the eye.
