If one subconsciously expects that it will take time, it will. If they expect that it might not work at all, but "let's try anyway", it won't. The key is the subconscious. That's the one key piece of information that "The Secret" left out - and it's because some of these people simply don't understand tha nature of the human thought-stream which is dual and not singular.
The subconscious is ruler in these things. There is more to it than language thinking, which makes it impression powered, experience convinced, no matter what the conscious 'thinks' language wise.
And indeed, when the subconscious is convinced it will take ages to never ever, than that is the dominant perspective, the main filter of 'truth'.
You have a point here...every time when I have a positive attitude things do go better, and I get what I want.
In addition, I'm strongly leaning towards TAO, the way. So, even me struggling with coherency is as it is. No matter what I would try, the Same kind of things will create my current path. Simply meaning, I cannot be any other then me being the one I am.
And there is still many things am thankfull for. As I was and will be.
Having an open and positive attitude towards any outcome does do good. And in my own Experience it somehow seems to be in line with what I'm convinced about in my heart. Gutfeeling, subconscious, what ever it might be called.
My realistic realm is one that I do not get what I want. But line with the subject this could Mean that my deeper, most important filter, the truth of the heart, simply is not coherent with my conscious constructed wishes.
Think I should go and find that place and the here and now again...
It takes as long as your heart is convinced it takes, if I remember correctly.
In case of my heart, never, but that's OK too! XD
