I would give a solid try. People will need to get used to seeing the email. Many wont notice so it might take even a few months for people to notice the email and open. If there is a way to segment the email addresses of active users and email them more than once a month it will have better results. Active users desperately want to hear from you.
We have been wondering about the optimal frequency. We felt weekly might be too much like spam.
Do you think every two weeks might be good?
