Steemit is a great platform is all authors share original content and interact and share something useful like a social media website. Hunger of getting maximum upvotes is spoiling this platform. Everybody wants its post to be trending rather than quality of content.
And about steem price, surely it will rise to a good extent as it is backed by a blockchain technology and investors. Unlike BTC, it is more stable i think.
