I've made the same mistake in the last two weeks. Came back to Steemit after an 8 month break and started upvoting everything like I do on Twitter and Facebook. My voting power has plumetted and is taking it's sweet time coming back! I'm resteeming this article. I will also up vote within 48 hours when my voting strength recovers! :-)

    Awesome, thank you so much. Yes, my uprooting is only back to 62%. It is taking forever to regain its power. I figure in a couple days I will be able to vote again. Thanks for the reSTEEM.
