I have used dclick a lot as an advertiser and they face some problems. People just click their own ads but other than that there is not much interaction. This is a problem of steem in general. It's become rare to have human interaction and likes on posts. So that makes me think not a lot of real humans read it. I wonder how many of the transactions on this blockchain is just from bots.

People make really low quality posts and then put dclick ads under them. So it's very low quality traffic.

What would save them is a better click fraud prevention system and also make the ads targeted. For example if someone posts something about food you can show them an add from a restaurant. If someone posts something about crypto you can show them an add about crypto exchanges. That would make a lot more sense. Because right now it's worse than just cold traffic because of the fraud.
