1. Community Curators for June
Steemit Inc is inviting applications for Community Curators for June.
Applications are invited from teams of up to three people.
For June there is a minimum SP requirement of 7000 SP for each team member.
There is also the option this coming month for developers of games and apps to apply.
The closing date for applications is 11:59 pm UTC, on Saturday 24 May 2025...
There are applications from 18 teams so far...
2. Win With Atlas : Delegators Draws & Atlas Detectives
Two new ways to win have been launched by the Steem Atlas team.
With the new Delegators Draws two people who are delegating at least 1000 SP to @steem-atlas will be drawn at random every Saturday to win a prize of 25 STEEM each. Delegators get one ticket in the draw for every 1000 SP they are delegating...
The winners of the first Delegators Draw were @hoesniy and @nanidi...
If the @steem-atlas account reaches 200K before the next draw this coming Saturday, then the prizes will be increased to 3 x 25 STEEM.
The Atlas Picture Quizzes started as simple photo hunts on Steem Atlas, but due to their popularity they were quickly developed into the Atlas Detectives League.
Regular 'missions' are released to find photos in posts on Steem Atlas. The winner of each mission wins a prize of up to 10 STEEM and up to 10 points for the Atlas Detectives League.
At the end of each month there is a prize pool of 60 STEEM for the top Atlas Detectives...
There have been six successful missions so far with the next one due to be released in the next 24 hours...
Pennsif the Witness
After almost 2000 days on Steem I decided it was time to take my contribution to the platform to the next level.

3. Steem Reps & Booming - Closing tonight
Steemit Inc have announced a new round of recruitment of Steem Representatives.
The twist this time is that the new Steem Reps will now be responsible for selecting the posts for support from the 1.7M SP @booming accounts.
The closing date for applications is in a few hours at 11.59pm UTC on Wednesday 21 May 2025...
There have been nearly 60 applications so far...
4. DAO Watch
The Steem DAO is continuing to build momentum.
There are currently five active projects being funded by the Steem DAO, including those headed by @futureshock / @hightouch, @roadofrich, @symbionts, @the-gorilla, and @justyy.
The Speak on Steem video project run by @alejos7ven has also now received sufficient votes and will start to receive funding on 30 May.
Several of the projects have posted updates...
As part of his DAO funded developments @the-gorilla has worked with the Ukrainian community to introduce a Ukrainian version of Steemit.com. Between them they also managed to get media coverage of this in the Ukrainian crypto media...
There are a number of proposals that have not yet gained sufficient support to receive funding from the DAO.

Games are continuing their mini renaissance on Steem.
The @h4lab team are holding a major referral event on their new Hari Raid game with a prize pool of 2000 STEEM
@kafio continues to add to his Steem Memory Game, now with weekly themes…

@httr4life has been developing his new Steemit Puzzle Club...
The World of Sports community has continue to grow the Sports Parlay game…
@sbgames are running a mini quiz for people to guess what will be the style of their next game in Season III…

Witness Developer @bountyking5 (#18) continues work on SteemX, now with some improvements for comments...
Witness Developer @etainclub (#20) is continuing to develop his new political game app PolyPunch...
Witness @moecki (#33) has set up a Steem Testnet. This will allow developers to test their new Steem developments...
@michelangelo3 has added advanced options for curators on his SteemSearch...
7. New Witness
Long time Steemian @wakeupkitty, who is based in the Netherlands, is the latest newcomer to the witness ranks.
@wakeupkitty, who is involved in the Arts & Artists community as well as the Freewriters project, has set up the @wakucat witness.
It is currently at #107 in the witness list...
