I wanna be in the #fml gang lol... Steem is something different for everyone this is very true.

With each generation the perspective is greatly influenced. Having come just after the last hardfork it's impossible for me to take steem seriously. I still get down about the lack of engagement but I've found a handful of people I'd absolutely hang out with IRL and that's priceless. I also see this as a game that's rigged and basically insane for people with ethics so I got frustrated that the bigger pictures are being missed due to greed and/or fear.

In a perfect world I'd have connected with other NGOs and people that are looking to connect here and use the currency as a tool to bridge the income inequalities throughout the world. We would have support groups for addictions of all kinds, and tuition programs for students. Training for artists, coders, off gridders, cannabis and hemp cultivators etc.

But, this is a baby and let's be honest most people came here to take care of #1 same as they do out in the big bad world so it's going to take time and decent people getting the shaft to create anything meaningful here.

I get that you need this to keep going or life will be more difficult and that you are rightfully upset you invested in others more than yourself. But the pay it forward mentality is about that life, and the rewards will come whether their grateful people or steem or a connection to do something to make the world more tolerable for people that have a real Shitty hand to play.

Stick around, it's not all twats here just 90% and that about 5% better than off chain tbh..
