Steem is just a lil infant in the grand scheme of things. Even all of the cryptosphere is just a toddler. The blockchain technology has only been in existence for a decade and didn't gain any real prominence until maybe 5 years ago or so.

I don't think the price will move up substantially until the economics are adjusted. The ideas have been tossed around but implementation is slow going as governance or whatever one wants to call it is completely fractured amongst factions and special interests. This to any interested outsiders makes steem a wait and see risk venture.

We don't have that luxury though and therefore action must be taken.

Friends of steem is cool, I had never seen it before. Nice to see a tally of where my votes come from..
