If you had 100 SP and you use that to upvote yourself you'll get $0.00 but if you delegated the 100 SP to the community it will place you on level 3 and you'll be receiving a daily upvote of about $0.04 and with the early bird gift which uovote you at 15% you should be getting about $0.06 in upvote daily. That is the ONE BIG UPVOTE explained. This of course keeps increasing as more members are joining or increasing their delegation. So on your own the 100 doesn't give much but joining the community give you more. Hope that explanation helps?
