Dinajpur Sports Village, Dinajpur

The title of the fifth week is a favorite sports place or leisure facility. Playing sports can benefit both physically and mentally. There are many academies in Dinajpur to increase the interest of the youth in sports. This sports village was established to control these academies and organize competitive sports among the players of the academy. Dinajpur Sports Village is a two-story building located to the north of the Shaheed Baro Field in Dinajpur Gore, to the west of the Shaheed Minar. To come here, Dinajpur will deliver any rickshaw or vehicle. It is located next to the railway station. If you want to come here from Dinajpur Railway Station, you can walk for 2 minutes.
It was established in 2012 and the building was constructed. Here, the organization is managed and controlled by the sports enthusiasts. Every 2 years, its president and other members are elected through elections by the players. These elected people later organize sports and take care of the players. Players are being produced in the national team from Dinajpur and good quality players are being produced outside it. The then government MP Iqbalur Rahim played an important role in establishing this sports village, he budgeted money from the government and played an important role in establishing it.

One of the main tasks of Dinajpur Sports Village is to ensure the safety of the players and organize sports for them. To maintain all the equipment and grounds for organizing sports. Dinajpur Sports Village organizes many games, cricket, football, basketball, hockey, volleyball, badminton, and they also have some other indoor sports facilities. There are several cricket academies in Dinajpur that are controlled by this Sports Village. To encourage the players, they provide large amounts of prizes and sports and practice equipment.

If there is a general ban on entry inside them, you can enter with permission during sports, but since the current summer sports are over, it is closed, only the office is open. Today, Friday, I could not enter due to the wind. They take care of every ground in the Dinajpur big field. Below are pictures of the fields under their supervision. Every playground in the whole field is under the control of the Sports Village.

Badminton is a suitable game at night, but sometimes night cricket tournaments are held here. Suitable lights are arranged for badminton. Currently, some halogen lights are being arranged for night tournaments, and some temporary lights are also arranged during games. There is a fan arrangement for the players in the dressing room during the day and a car for supplying cold water. The natural environment here is very beautiful. There is no fee to enter here, but permission is required for the general public to enter. This sports village is for the players, so the players are not inconvenienced and no one disturbs them.
The weekly holiday here is Friday, but it is also open on Fridays if there is a sports tournament going on. It is also closed on special days and public holidays.
Dinajpur Sports Village is located in Dinajpur Boro Maidan, it is a natural environment and a good place for traveling. Dinajpur Boro Maidan has a lot of passion with the locals. Many big Eid congregations are held here. There is a big minaret here which has added to the beauty of the field. Dinajpur Sports Village can be a great travel destination with this field as its center. I spent most of my free time in this field, chatting with friends and sometimes enjoying the tournaments here.
