Steemian friends!
How are you all? I hope everyone is doing well by the grace of Allah, I am also doing well and healthy by the grace of Allah, Alhamdulillah. I have come to you with a great competition, I will first of all thank @max-pro brother. Who is working very hard to organize this competition. As you know, this week is the third session of the 26th week of the Steemit-Challenge.
This week, brother has set a very nice topic. When discussing his assigned topic, the reality of small-capital traders on the side of the road emerges. The assigned topic is the cobbler shop, the cloth shop and the mobile accessories on the side of the road. Among them, the small trader I will discuss is the most neglected trader. By now you have understood what topic I have set, let me also tell you, my topic is the small and small-capital trader on the side of the road, the cobbler shop. Who runs his family with the money of his own hard work.
Three traders play a very important role for us, these are our most necessary things. Among these three businesses, most people look at the cobbler shop differently and consider them to be a completely low-quality business. But today I will break that misconception, no matter how small the business is, it is very important to him. Because he earns a halal income from this business and can live comfortably with his family. There is no bribery or fraud here, these poor people are constantly serving us and in the end we are making them the object of reproach. This is very sad.

No businessperson can be underestimated, no businessperson can be looked down upon, even if he is a cobbler, he should still maintain the respect he deserves. Just think! If there were no cobblers, where would we repair our shoes? Surely we would throw away the shoes and buy new shoes again, which would have cost us a lot of money. And thanks to these small businesspeople, we can prevent our money from being wasted. The income of cobblers in the city is much higher than in the village, because city people go to the cobbler's shop to repair their shoes when they are a little dirty. As a result, they help make their shoes more shiny.
What type of daily necessities business is most in demand in your area? (Street Cobbler, Mobile Accessories or Street Clothes etc.)

There is a lot of demand for cobbler's shops, clothes shops and mobile accessories in our area. However, since I am staying in the city, I can say that the demand for cobblers is much higher here, because; city people are very rich, they repair their shoes when they get a little torn. Again, when the shoes get a little dirty or the color comes off, they paint the shoes and make them shiny again. And the village people do not repair shoes that much, the village people can walk with their shoes as they are, but if they get torn, they immediately get them repaired from the cobbler.

In the village, cobbler shops are located far away, and in the city, cobbler shops are found a little later in the alleys. Because there are more people in the city and their daily needs are also high. Although repairing shoes is not a daily need, we occasionally repair our shoes from the cobbler. However, one day I was looking for a cobbler to repair my shoes but I could not find one anywhere around, after walking a long way, I found a cobbler. I asked him what his daily income is like? He told me that since there is no other cobbler around me, my workload is much higher. And my income is also higher. This shows that the demand for cobblers is very high.
Have you bought these yourself or visited them? Show pictures + videos and show their prices.

No, I didn't go to repair my shoes, but to look around. I went to Sadarghat from there, went to Samson Road via Ahsanullah Road and stood in front of Ambia Tower. There I saw two cobblers, they were working very carefully, I went to him and stood there and collected a few photos, and I recorded a video of him repairing his shoes on my phone camera while standing next to him.
And when I arrived, I found out the approximate cost of shoe repair from him, so that it would be easier for us to repair shoes later. I asked the cobbler's shopkeeper! How much does he charge to repair shoes? Then I asked how much do you charge to repair torn shoes? Then how much do you charge to dye old shoes? He answered me!
Type of work | BDT Price | Steem price |
---|---|---|
Shoe shine | 50 BDT | 3.2 Steem |
Shoe sewing | 30 BDT | 1.9 Steem |
Shoe store | 40 BDT | 2.5 Steem |

What is the quality of these products? Also, if you have any experience with how long they last, please tell me.
If I tell you about shoe repair tips, I will say that the shoes last a long time after being repaired. I repaired a shoe and was able to use it for about 5 to 6 months. In a word, a lot.

Lasts for days. It also happens that the other side of the shoe gets torn but the repaired area remains the same. They are small traders but they work very carefully, that's why the work is so strong. Sometimes it happens to me that the repaired shoes are intact but the new shoes purchased after the repair are torn first. This means that their repaired shoes are worn out for a long time.
How do people behave towards street vendors? (sympathetic, ignoring, bargaining etc.)
This is a very difficult thing, if I talk about this, you will understand how people treat them! We can eat in a restaurant for thousands of taka and pay the bill without asking, but when we go to that small trader's cobbler's shop on the side of the road, we ask the price a thousand times, we haggle over the price, that's all! We don't hesitate to talk to them in such a trivial and disrespectful way. We think that they are completely low-quality people and we should treat them like this, but this is a completely wrong idea, think about it! They are earning their income with great difficulty, so why should we ignore them? They may do small and low-quality businesses, but they are also the best creatures created by Allah.

However, there are some people who are tolerant towards them, and do not even haggle over prices. I applaud them a lot and I request those who treat them badly and speak indecent language, let us all treat them well and encourage them in their work. Then they too will be able to live a beautiful life in society. If anyone benefits from my writing, then this post will be worthwhile. Thank you all.

Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart @solaymann for supporting me. I wish you all the best.
First of all, I would like to thank you for inviting me. Of course, I will try to participate here.
Also, one of the businesses that you have highlighted is the cobbler's shop. Also, the other two businesses such as cloth and mobile repair are not bad. They are considered a very good system.
However, in comparison, shoe repair shops are seen by people a little differently and they have a crisis of humanity. Because we complement each other. When our shoes get old, they are cleaned beautifully from their shop and look like new. Also, if the shoes are torn, they are repaired.
Finally, thank you for providing detailed information about your shop and how much it costs to paint, clean and sew torn shoes. Blessings and love.
Thank you very much for your valuable comment, I wish you all the best, I hope Sarada stays well and healthy.
