"SLC27-W1 | A One-Day Street Journalist: Festival-centric business."
Assalamu Alaikum,
Hello everyone,
I am @afrinn
From #Bangladesh
In today's competition, I will highlight the festival-oriented businesses in my area. During various festivals in our country, temporary kitsch businesses are set up for a few days. I am very grateful to @Max-pro bhai for giving me the opportunity to highlight beautiful moments in this competition.

Various types of festivals are celebrated in our area. Among them, the festival that is going on now is the Puja festival. And various types of temporary businesses start during the Puja festival. Festival-oriented. However, several foods are prepared during the festival in our area such as fried jilapi singara in oil. Etc. Apart from this, there are other different types of businesses which are the children's toy business. Small decoration business. And the traders in these businesses make a lot of profit. However, compared to the previous ones, I saw different types of traders this time during the Puja festival. From there, I think the traders of jilapi gaja namki on the side of the road are very nice and good according to my preference
Have you ever bought anything from these shops? Show pictures + videos and show prices.

Of course I bought jilapi namki from the shops. My mother-in-law loves nuts very much. I bought nuts for my mother-in-law and jilapi for my daughters. This is usually a temporary business. The business starts around festivals in different places. It runs from six in the morningto twelve at night. And always
hot jilapi fried in oil is available. Which is very tasty and fun to eat. And here I am giving pictures of the fun foods and how jilapi is made. I am giving a short video of it. When I usually go to different festivals, the first thing I like is gaja and hot jilapi. So I bought hot jilapi for 40 taka.
When I was very young. I used to buy and eat such food a lot. It was always with my . Moreover, my grandmother's house is in Rasulpur area. Every year Jamai Mela is organized there. And in that fair, various types of food, cosmetics, and various types of shops are sitting. I love and like such temporarybusinesses very much since childhood. The biggest thing is that among the temporary businesses, I like Phuchka and Jhalmuri more. And which is highlighted more in festivals.
Why are people more attracted to street shops during festivals?

The reason why people are more attracted to street shops during festivals. The foods that I will talk about are very tempting and attractive foods. I have liked these foods since I was very young. We rarely see these foods on the streets except during festivals. So when their people move around excessively. When people see temporary traders sitting on the side of the road with various types of food. Then without knowing it, people go here to buy or enjoy food. Moreover, there are some other shops focused on festivals on the side of the road, such as toy shops. When children go to see the festival, they force their parents to go to the shops. And at that time, children are very happy to get different types of food and toys in their hands. As a result, they are very attracted to the food and toys of festival-oriented traders. Every child knows that their parents will respect them enough at that moment of the festival ❤️❤️
Are these businesses contributing to the preservation of local culture?
Of course, businesses have contributed to the preservation of local culture. Because of that, the traders are not as insignificant as they seem. They spend their time burning in the sun and getting wet in the rain and enjoying the festival. For these temporary traders, every festival is celebrated very beautifully. There is a scene that I have seen. These temporary traders work hard day and night. That will continue from six in the morning to twelve at night. Not only is it their livelihood, they are still holding these cultural things in the country, which is good for those regions. And from here, small children can see the heritage of the country. All in all, I would say that they are not only introducing new foods for the country but also for the entire people of the country. And they are distributing them during the festival, which is contributing to the preservation of local culture?
