Here in my country we have diverse street food available in the morning, afternoon and evening. In Nigeria, any fast delicacy you need can be prepared for you immediately, That's just the joy of being in my country. Today in this contest I will be talking about my best street food vendor not just a vendor but a seller, brother and friend. I met him some years ago struggling with few sales it wasn't easy for him but he continued tirelessly and today he's a a popular street food seller.

Emma's celebrity chicken and plantain seller is a known street food point that gives full satisfaction to its customers not just stomach satisfaction but full vibes that will bring you back again and again.

Here in my city we have various street food depending on the time tho, we have pap and akara for breakfast, roasted chicken with plantain, cassava flakes with fish, pork with potatoes, roasted corn with pear for lunch and dinner. It's very hard for you to get pap and akara in the evening in our street because we normalise it to be for breakfast.

I really enjoy taking roasted chicken with ripe plantain at Emma's spot. He serves the best and most delicious combo in our city, he's known on social medias too. The plantain and chicken combo hits differently when you wash it down with a chilled soft drink. He displays different chicken parts which include, Chicken breast known as the ikong esit in my dialect, Chicken neck, laps, neck liver and others. I really enjoy the chicken breast because of how thick that particular is.

The amazing thing about this combo is that it's really the best for passerby at the moment, the plantain serves as a natural energy to those who are totally drained from work.

To say, I have been addicted for months now. I can't go a week without branching his spot to get that particular combo. I also merge the roasted chicken with boiled yam too when I feel like changing my taste. I will recommend the combo other steemians to give a try, talking about their nutritional value I will spot it out one after the other.

Traditionally some parts were mainly meant for the family head to consume like the gizzard, liver and chicken breast. Due to the changes and lives transformation everyone now takes it.

📍Plantain
Consuming boiled ripe plantain provides us with long lasting energy that can take us for hours without breaking off. Plantain provides us with carbohydrates which help hold us for long after consuming a portion, two of it can satisfy and keep you energetic for 5 to 6 hours.

Roasted chicken is rich in protein which supports and level up our body. Roasted chicken is more preferable to fried because the content of fat is reduced when roasted. He motivates me alot to always stay strong and pursue a certain goal knowing very well that no matter what God will make a way. He's very jovial ans lovely especially to his customers which creates good business bond with them.
I learnt that it doesn't matter what how we start but where we are headed to.
