"SLC27-W1 | A One-Day Street Journalist: Festival-centric business."
Dear friends!
You must be aware that we are now passing the first week of steemit challenge season- 27. And today is the last day. And the topic of this week's challenge is quite wonderful and joyful. Which was organized by dear @max-pro brother, slc27-w1 | a one-day street journalist: Festival-centric business. Under this title. I, @jubayer95 from @Bangladesh, am participating in this wonderful challenge.
Our Bangladesh is a Muslim-majority country. Apart from Muslims, there are Hindus in this country, who are the second majority. Apart from people of both religions, there are people of other religions, who are very small in number. The two major religious festivals of Muslims are Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha. And one of the religious festivals of Hindus is Durga Puja. Which has just passed away. Since there is no religious festival for Muslims at the moment. On the other hand, the Durga Puja of Hindu brothers passed away two days ago. But as a Muslim, I cherish religious feelings and do not like it when I go to Hindu festivals and do anything from there.
So instead of going to any festival, rather the market-centric festivals, which are comparatively a bit more crowded for Durga Puja. That is, there are many shopkeepers who, due to religious feelings, set up shops in the market instead of going to any puja fair. I will discuss a little about one such shop.

What are the Festival-centric businesses in your area?
Among the festival-centric businesses in our area, there are various types of food businesses. Such as: jilapi, papad, piaju, jhal muri etc. There are also religious books, perfumes, hats. Apart from these, the most common business is various types of children's toys. Glasses and wristwatches for children's use.
And today, I have chosen a glasses and watch shop, leaving all the businessmen behind in this competition. Because everyone writes about food, chess, children's toys etc. Even me. But very few people write about glasses and watches, which are children's hobbies. So, I have chosen this shop, thinking it is a little different. And I asked my dear businessman brother like a journalist, why does he trade in these children's items? He answered me, children are very attracted to glasses and home to make themselves smarter in addition to wearing beautiful clothes.

Have you ever bought anything from these stores? Show pictures + videos and show their prices.
Yes, I definitely bought it! Since I have an only son who is three years old. My son is no exception to other children. He also has to buy glasses and watches along with other toys. A few days ago, I bought a pair of glasses and a watch for the child. My son goes out with me on a motorcycle wearing glasses. And he says that if you wear glasses, dirt won't get in your eyes, right, dad? And he will say with a watch in his hand, look how beautiful dad looks. I cannot express in words how much joy it is to see and realize these joys of a child, to be a father.

Why are people more attracted to street stalls during festivals?
I think the reason why people are more attracted to street stalls during festivals is.
There is more atmosphere of people in street stalls compared to other shops.
Products are available at street stalls at comparative discounts.
Products of various items are available.
The behavior of street vendors is nice.
Are these businesses contributing to preserving local culture?
Why not? Of course, I think these festival-oriented street stalls are making a special contribution to preserving local culture. There are especially some foods that are not available except at festival-oriented fairs. And this method is very old in Bangladesh.
Which is still alive through these roadside businessmen. So I think they have been playing an important role in preserving the culture of our society.
