In our Bangladesh, street food is sold on the roads, riverbanks, in small markets, and in the alleys of cities and villages. Especially in urban areas and small markets, they set up small shops to make and sell these foods. Almost everyone in our country enjoys eating these, and they are very tasty. They are sold in large quantities almost every day in both villages and urban areas.
Street food is an independent business. Ordinary people engage in this business. One of my known uncles has been doing this business for a long time, selling around our village, and in the afternoon, he sells these near the market or playground. While street food may not be overly beneficial for health, its taste is significantly enjoyable, which is why we all love to eat street food.

Generally, I like food made with puffed rice, chanachur, and chickpeas. Even when I stay in the village, I buy and eat this kind of food. I saw a shop like this next to a hangout spot in the city. After asking him, he took a dish and selected puffed rice, chanachur, and chickpeas with various pickles. He sells it beautifully prepared like this. Passersby on the street look for such shops for light snacks, just as I do.

From what I could understand, this shopkeeper is religious and hardworking. If you see the shopkeeper, you might realize that he is a person of the Islamic faith. He sells in this part of the city in the afternoon, in addition to performing the five daily prayers. He keeps everything in order throughout the day while maintaining his family's and his own worship, taking this van system shop to the alleys and neighborhoods of the city amidst games and social gatherings. After talking to him, I understood that he earns around 2000-2500 taka daily, managing everything properly.
Any job is very important. We should not underestimate any work. Seeing the struggles of this shopkeeper, it seems that running this street food business is quite significant. If many rich and poor people are involved in this business, then there is no option to belittle it. Many people have become self-reliant through this business and sustain their livelihoods with it.
This business requires hard work and perseverance. There are many types of people in society, some of whom are disabled or unable to do other jobs. For them, I believe this street food business is extremely important. Additionally, this business is important because ordinary people enjoy eating these foods. People from the city eat these foods to experience the taste of rural areas.
