Phone Accessories are important because they help us use our phones better. For instance our phone pouch, it protects our phone from cracks Incase it falls down and so on.

Oh yeah I have bought phone accessories many times. Infact I have a customer for my phone accessories. Recently when I got a new phone, I needed to put screen guide and pouch on it so I went to my customer to get it.
The name of my phone accessories customer is Ben but we call him oga Ben Accessories. He deals on phone Accessories such as Phone screen guide, phone chargers, ear piece and eat pods, phone pouch of all kinds of phones.

Oga Ben phone Accessories street shop is located in the city of Lagos opposite University of Lagos. Most of his customers are university of Lagos students while other of his customers are passengers who either wants to board a bus or came down from a bus because a bus bustop is located very close to his shop too.
Oga Ben has been in this business for the past 3years now. When I spoke with him, I realized he came all the way from his village to the city just to make ends meet and a friend finally introduced his to that business. According to him he says he makes good sales every day even though there are many competitors around him.

What is the quality of these products? Also, if you have any experience with how long they last, please tell me |
---|
These products such phone pouch , ear piece, screen guide are quality depending on their originality that is why their prices are different. Oga Ben is an honest business man so when a customer shows up in his shop to buy items he always tells them to buy the original one and he tells you the price but when you can't afford the price of the original, he gives you the normal one.
His original products can last longer than just normal. For example his original charger can last for as high as 5 years. But his normal charger may last for 2weeks - 3 months.
Last year I bought a charger from him that wasn't original for 2000 naira(10 steem) because at that time I didn't have so much cash on me, my phone was down and I needed to charge it urgently because I gave a friend my charger.
After buying this charger, it only lasted for 3 weeks and it developed fault. At first It started heating too much anytime it's charging my phone, then suddenly it stopped charging my phone.
When I went back to get the original one from him I told him what happened and he told me the durability of non original charger is not guaranteed. I still have the original charger in my house right now, it's still working after a year.
So the quality of all the products oga Ben sells is dependent on their price and also the maintenance given by the user of the products.
How do people behave towards street vendors? (sympathetic, ignoring, bargaining etc.) |
---|
The way people behave towards street vendors can really be funny at times. Many people I have seen including my self have the attitude of bargaining.
For instance when I went to Oga bens shop, a customer came to fix his phone screen guide, he was told that the price of the original Screen Guide was 2500 naira(12.5 steem), the first reaction of the customer was to scream.
The customer after scream said Oga I will buy it for 1000 naira(5 steem). I just stood there in shock. Oga Bens and his customer dragged the price for almost 10 minutes and finally the customer insisted it should be sold for 2000 naira(12 steem).
When oga Ben refused, the customer walked away without buying. But the same customer will enter into a well finished phone accessories shop that operates like a supermarket or mall and buy the same products higher without questions.
Many people feel because it is a street vendor it should not be expensive, it should be so cheap. But guess what? Street vendors even buy their products at a more expensive price than those in big malls and supermarkets because they buy in smaller quantities.
I know that in business, bargaining is good but sometimes we should be considerate too especially with street vendors because they go through a lot to get the products to us.
