SLC27-W2 | A One-Day Street Journalist: Factory and industrial area businesses.
Industry is the key source of a country's economic growth. The people who work in an industry, as well as those who depend on these workers, are part of their cycle.

Welcome to the second week of the Steemit Challenge, Season 27. This week, our beloved mentor @max-pro asked us to create a report about the life cycle of ipeople in an industrial zone Here is my presentation.
Everything is popular in an industrial zone. Like a cosmetics store, a cloth store, a grocery store, a vegetable store, a street fruits store, and a street food store. Anything that relates to who is working in an industry is popular here. In my observation, ready food stores like hotels, restaurants, and tea stalls are very popular. Special, during the lunch period.

In my area, which is a heavy industrial area, near to Dhaka Export Import Zone (DEPZ) gives only one hour or one and a half hours for lunch break. This is a very short time to cook and eat lunch.

On the other hand, vegetables are also popular items near a Factory or Industry. The workers get less time, as they work hard. They don't want to stay out for a long time after their duty time. That's why they like to buy on their way home from the industry.
I usually don’t buy anything from this type of store, which is near the industry. I live a bit away from that zone and never needed to buy from these stores. But, yes, sometimes, when we visit a nearby place of an industry, most of the time to play football or cricket, we take a break to eat something. The hotel near the industry provides good quality food at a cheap price. Another thing is, these hotels stay free maximum time as most of the customers are industry workers.

When I discussed it first topic, I explained the duration of lunch break. Industry workers come here early morning, and go back at night. Many of them do overtime duties. That's why they have less time to cook. As a result, they depend on these ready-made food hotels. They spent that free time discussing and gossiping at a tea stall. Do relaxing.

They have busy schedules. Including lunch hour, they work for a 10-hour-long duty. 2/3 hours overtime duty. After long working hours, they became exhausted, tired. That's why they don't go far away for shopping. They buy whatever they get in those stores. This is the reason that workers are more attracted to these stalls.

I guess, No. The lives of these shop owners are very difficult. Anyone, who is not involved in this type of business will never know what is happening inside. I discussed with many shop owners in that area. They have sales, and trade volume is very healthy. But the problem is cash flow. The industry workers have only one income source and that is their salary. Most of the time, they don't pay instantly. It becomes tough for the shop owner to handle the business. Furthermore, these industry workers often run away without paying their debt, which makes shop owners' lives more difficult.

But, house owners are the ones who benefit from it more. Workers like to live near the industry. That's why the House owner always gets the most benefit from it.

This is the story of the business around an industry in my area. Every business has its own difficulties, benefits, advantages, and disadvantages. We don’t know what is going on inside from a distance. We might have thought it was an opportunity. But in reality, that's not. He who can manage this smartly, goes up. Who can't, he drowned. This is how it goes.
