That is why every day, countless shopkeepers on various streets sell all these things according to the needs of consumers. In addition, fruits, vegetables, and fish are very beneficial for our body.

Which item is in the highest demand in your area? (Fruit or vegetable or fish market)

We Bengalis and Bengalis must have vegetables or fish in our daily food list. This means that in our country or area, there is a daily demand for vegetables or fish along with fruits. Almost all types of people, from ordinary people, have a demand for vegetables or fish. However, eating fruits has health benefits for us, but for the people of our area, it is less than the demand for vegetables or fish. However, these three ingredients are very beneficial for our body.

There is a saying in Bangladesh, "Mache Bhate Bengali". That is, Bengalis love to eat fish. Moreover, there are numerous rivers, canals and beels in Bangladesh from which fresh fish of various species are available. Compared to the city, the fish in the village is fresher and the people of the village like to buy fresh fish from the market every day. Currently, due to the presence of refrigerators, most of the people in the city buy fish and keep it in the refrigerator, so they do not have to go to the fish market again and again. There is a popular fish market in every area. There is also a popular fish market in our area and this fish market is located in Joydevpur.

I am a housewife so I prefer to cook food according to my family's taste or buy vegetables or fish accordingly. So a few days ago, my husband and I went to Joydevpur to buy fish. I always try to feed my family fresh food, for this I must buy fresh fish. Fresh fish is always available in Joydevpur.I buy pangasius and tilapia fish from the market.My husband likes pangas and I buy tilapia for all the members of the house. Because not everyone in the family wants to eat pangas fish. Anyway, the prices of the fish are given below,

I am bargaining for fish.

There are different types of fish shops in the fish market which have different prices and types. Customers always buy fish by bargaining after seeing each shop. The fish in this fish market have to be bargained for, that is, the fish here are not of one rate. My husband bargained for the fish. There is a fish cutting shop here from where I cut the fish. The cost of cutting the fish was 80 taka, which is 4.7 taka.

In our area, along with raw fish, dried fish is also popular. Dried fish includes chapa dried fish, dried fish of different types. I also buy some dried fish from the dried fish shop. The price of which is given below,

What kind of special methods or offers do sellers use to attract customers?

This question is very interesting for me because I am answering this question below according to some of my experiences.

• Initially, they arrange fresh fruits, vegetables, fish very beautifully in the shop to attract customers. In this way, customers are attracted to get fresh things.

• Apart from that, the shopkeepers from the shops located on the side of the road give fruits, vegetables or fish at a low price because the shopkeepers do not have to pay any additional bills because they are shops on the side of the road. In this, the shopkeepers can sell at a profit as needed and the customers are happy to get good quality things at a low price.

• Due to the presence of these shops on the side of the road, customers can buy fruits, vegetables or fish of their choice in a short time without any hassle. Currently, many shopkeepers provide these services to customers on the road.

• The shopkeepers who are located on the side of the road are very friendly and due to their good interaction with the customers, they are able to sell more fruits, vegetables or fish.

• Most of the shops located on the side of the road collect fresh fruits, vegetables or fish from local farmers. Therefore, customers also like to buy these things from these shops.

How important do you think the role of these businesses is in terms of health and nutrition?

The fish business plays a very important role in terms of health and nutrition. Fish eliminates the deficiency of various vitamins and nutrients in our body. Most of the fish available in the fish shops in our area are formalin-free, but there are some unscrupulous traders who sell fish containing formalin, which is very harmful to our body. However, fresh fish is available in most of the shops and every customer buys fresh fish after seeing it.

Although the price of fresh fish is relatively high. Since we get different types of vitamins and nutrients from different fish, we can say that fish traders play a huge role in our good health. Therefore, fish traders fulfill our food needs by selling different types of fish.
