Which is the most demanded exceptional product in your area?

The most demanded exceptional products in our area are household essentials, including plastic products, holi book shops, flower shops. In addition to getting these in the market, they are also available in some shops on the side of the road. People in the region can purchase these items from the shops on the side of the road according to their needs. People's needs are different from time to time. It is not always the case that people use plastic or always buy holi books, but they are usually purchased according to their needs.

Currently, there is a huge demand for flowers in various cultural or social events in society. A traditional event in Bangladesh is the Halud ceremony, where these roadside flower shops meet the demand for flowers in large quantities for various Halud ceremonies, wedding ceremonies, school cultural ceremonies and honor ceremonies.

Usually, if you need flowers, flower bouquets or flower jewelry for a wedding ceremony or social event, you have to order the flower shops located on the roadside the day before. Once the order is placed, they make it according to the customer's choice. A few days ago, a relative of mine had a ceremony at his house and we all decided to wear the same flower jewelry for the Halud ceremony.

So my husband and I went to the roadside flower shops in Joydevpur two days ago. We went there and placed an order with a flower shop. There I took various pictures and a video. They arrange different types of flowers for sale in the shop and as samples. When someone places an order, they give flowers to the customers according to their needs.

How do you think these products will affect people's lives?

Of course, all these products have a huge impact on people's lives. Just as we can get our daily necessities such as plastic products and services from roadside shops, we also need these others to meet our needs for flowers on various occasions. For example, some traditional events in our country have been sustained through these flowers. Since ancient times, there has been a tradition of exchanging flowers or giving flowers as a token of respect on various occasions. Especially in our country, there is a huge demand for flowers in a traditional turmeric ceremony and wedding ceremonies. So it can be said that flowers have maintained our tradition on various occasions.

Do you think these exceptional businesses are making a special contribution to society?

These exceptional businesses are making a special contribution to society. Roadside shops provide products at low prices. In addition, most of the people in the society are middle class and lower class. And these ordinary people feel comfortable buying products according to their needs from roadside shops. Small shops on the side of the road can eliminate unemployment and improve society by earning money. These shops can be started with a small capital as a sole proprietorship. Ordinary customers are also happy to buy products from these roadside shops at low prices. These exceptional businesses have preserved some of the traditional customs of the society. Therefore, I think these exceptional businesses play a huge role in the society.
