In today's competition, I will highlight the festival-oriented businesses in my area. During various festivals in our country, temporary kitsch businesses come up for a few days. I am very grateful to @Max-pro brother for allowing me to highlight beautiful moments in this competition.

What are the Festival-centric businesses in your area?

Actually, festival-oriented businesses are a part of our tradition in our country. Here, there is a fair-like business. So it is a very happy time for us, and here we all enjoy a good time. Among the businesses, there are many toy shops, children's toys, as well as food shops where one of our traditional foods is available, such as Murali, Nimki, Batasa, etc.. Apart from food shops, there are fried food shops where fried big shrimp heads are quite delicious.

There is also a Nagardola (ride) to enjoy. Everyone sits here and enjoys this ride, which is one of our traditional rides.

For Muslims, all kinds of shops like perfumes, hats, prayer mats, books, etc. are seen. It is only among everyone. Since there are small shops there, it is very crowded for several days. It is made of wood and tarpaulin on top. Some shops are covered with cloth on 3 sides. This is a temporary business, but these shops are seen in our country's festivals and mahfils.

Have you ever bought anything from these stores? Show pictures + videos and show their prices.

Today, I have come to the place where the traditional religious festivals of our country are centered. These businesses are temporary during any festival. Since the business has been going on with this festival for quite some time, everyone here happily buys and buys historical food. Today I also went to visit here, and I bought some food from the fried food here for only 30 taka.

When I was young, I used to beg my family to buy many things during such festivals. Especially the hobby of buying pistols for toys was quite enjoyable. I may not get those days back; I miss them so much. Seeing such temporary businesses reminds me of my childhood. Traditional foods like Murali, Nimki, Batasa, Piti, etc., are like beautiful moments in life. So today I bought some of those traditional foods and ate them.

I made a beautiful video of their food shop, and here I took notes of the answers to some questions from them as a one-day journalist. Actually, they do not have a specific place for business. They make a temporary place for their business during festivals and various gatherings. They earn their living from this business.

Why are people more attracted to street stalls during festivals?

Actually, the shops of this business are different from other shops; it is a temporary business, so it is not always visible. It is usually an open-air shop made of wood and cloth. They have a separate stove to prepare the food and use wood as fuel. When I went to them and asked them about this temporary business as a journalist for a day, they saw it positively. They are very happy to do this kind of temporary business in different places.

It not only makes them happy, but also makes the common people of that area happy. This is a different kind of joy fair that maintains the tradition. It is very crowded there, and you can buy ordinary products there that are not usually available in the market. Also, during the festival, many people receive money as tips, which makes people more attracted to the products of this temporary business than ordinary shops.

People are more attracted to roadside shops because they can enjoy various kinds of happy moments, such as food shops and rides, in addition to playing there.

Are these businesses contributing to preserving local culture?

Yes, this business is contributing to the preservation of local culture. Day by day, many of our cultures are being erased, and many things are coming to an end due to the current technological age. There were many such temporary businesses in the past, from villages to cities, but day by day their business has started decreasing comparatively. As a one-day journalist, I have taken note of many things about their lives.

They are earning a living by working very hard in this business and facing the sun, rain, storms, and they are putting their lives on the line and doing business. There is not much space for them, but they have made a place to live in the shop. It seems that there will be no end to their hardships. They are working from morning to night. Not only is this their livelihood, but they are still keeping these cultural things in the country, which is good for those areas.

Such businesses are going on in those areas, in which the people of that area and young children are also learning these traditions, and they are also gaining knowledge about them. The traditions and cultures are still alive for small businesses, so I think it is contributing to the preservation of local culture.
