Barmeez Market, Cox's Bazar

Barmeez Market is located in Cox's Bazar district of Bangladesh. This is one of the most famous markets in the Cox's Bazar tourist area. Here tourists can purchase various products at affordable prices. There are various types of products available here. However, Barmeez Market is better known for its pickles. Various types of delicious foods and pickles are imported here from Myanmar. That is why this market is named Barmeez Market.

If you enter it, you will see that most of the shopkeepers are from Myanmar. Basically, they bring their delicious products to Bangladesh and sell them at cheap prices. Tourists flock to Barmeez Market to purchase its products because they are available at very reasonable prices.

It's not a very big market, but there are a lot of food items here. There are also clothes and various types of eye-catching designed furniture. I entered a store at this Barmeez Market and reviewed it. Most of the products here were food products. Notable among these was the pickle. Also, cosmetics products were cheap here.

I spent quite some time reviewing Barmeez Market after entering it. Here, the price is initially demanded to be higher, but the price of the product is not fixed. If you want, you can purchase the products at a very affordable price through bargaining. Each product is full of quality and freshness.

There were various types of rituals here. I can name a few pickles. They are, barai pickle, mango pickle, tamarind pickle, garlic pickle, chaltar pickle, olive pickle, etc. Each pickle is rich in flavor and quality. I wanted to know about the value of these. In the picture below, you can see cosmetics products and some pickle.

There is no shortage of rituals here. Every gallery of rituals was full. I was quite surprised to see the bunch of pickles in the gallery. There were numerous packets of pickles here. Each packet contains a dozen pickles. Here I learned about the price of a packet of pickles. The price of one packet, or a dozen pickles, was 180 Bangladeshi taka. Both packaged pickles and canned pickles are available here. You are free to purchase the more preserved pickles that are kept in the box(Jar) here if you wish. However, you will have to pay some extra money for the box(jar).

After reviewing the pickle gallery, let's move on to the gallery of other delicious foods. Various items of chocolate and shakes are made here. Chocolate flavoured and almond-made sandesh were available here. I was allowed to review the packet of these. I gained an idea of the weight and price of each packet.

The products you see in the picture below are packets of chocolate and sandesh. Delicious food products are made here using a mixture of nuts and chocolate. These include coconut latte, almond crisp, coffee chocolate, almond chocolate, various nut mix sandesh, etc. Most of the packets weighed between 200 and 250 grams.

I was reviewing the products here. This market is famous for pickles, so you can see pickles in most of the galleries. Other products are just to attract more customers. Authorities claim that all the products are unique and imported from Myanmar. However, I am not 100% sure of its accuracy. However, the products here have been popular for a long time.
