Welcome to the Ulfatulrahmah Blog

Hello all steemians friends, How are you all, I hope your days are always healthy and happy... Today I want to take part in a contest issued by @max-pro entitled "SLC26-W4 | Street Business Diaries: Service-based professions." Hopefully in this contest I can get a good score, Amen.

What types of service-based occupations are most in demand in your area? (Barber, mechanic, watch/glasses repairer, van ice cream vendor, etc.)

In my area of Aceh, in the three service-based jobs, all three are the most sought after by the Acehnese people, I see my area, Aceh, as India too, almost the same, there are no two of them, many people choose service-based jobs such as small workshops on the roadside, simple barbers, even Acehnese people in ancient times had brotherhoods and were descendants of Indians, that is the story of Aceh's history that I heard from my ancestors.

Okay,... Friends, in Aceh, these three service-based jobs are already widely done by people to earn money every day. If we look at and compare them with other European countries, it is very different from the work of the Acehnese people. However, the Acehnese people are still happy and enthusiastic about working for wages for their families.

But for this question, I'll choose to visit a motorcycle repair shop located not far from my house, even though there are quite a lot of people around my village who work in services such as home clock and watch repairmen, street barbers, and street ice cream vendors. But as I said earlier, for this contest post, I'll choose a motorcycle repair shop on the street.

Have you ever used these services yourself or purchased anything? Show pictures + videos and show their prices.

Very fitting, I answered this second question, Because today I happened to want to repair my old motorbike at a street repair shop. I have been walking or riding my mother's motorbike for almost two or five months, because my motorbike has been abandoned in the Bekasi house for a long time. Today I want to fix many things about this old silver motorbike in front of me, I repaired the motorbike's broken rim and serviced the engine so that this old motorbike's engine is healthy and powerful again.

That's all I can fix according to the money I carry in my wallet, Honestly, even though my motorbike has had many complaints, that's not all I fixed, I also brought my uncle's push bike tire, and I wanted to fix or patch the flat push bike tire, because my uncle told me and asked for my help to patch the flat push bike tire at the repair shop I visited.

My Video

Okay, fellow Steemians, below I'd like to provide more detailed pricing for my repairs and other motorcycle repair services in Aceh. Repair prices may vary significantly compared to other countries.

Machine service: IDR 50,000 - 23 STEEM
Repairing Rims | Average: IDR 150,000 - 72 STEEM
Tire repair: 20,000 IDR - 9 STEEM

Well, friends, for the prices of other items at the workshop I visited, I also spoke extensively with the mechanic who works daily at his boss's workshop. Below, I've provided the prices I asked the mechanic.

Front tire price for automatic motorbikes: IDR 250,000 - 115 STEEM.
Rear tire price for automatic motorbikes: IDR 350,000 - 165 STEEM.

"How do you know, friends, are tire prices expensive or cheap at my local repair shop?" That's the mechanic's answer regarding automatic motorcycle tire prices. I don't yet know the detailed prices for other tires, as my goal is simply to repair my motorcycle and replace it with a new one.

Were you satisfied at the end of the work or were you ever disappointed?

IMG-20250903-0025.jpg

I am very satisfied, I have repaired my motorbike several times in the workshop that I visited and other street workshops, I have never felt disappointed, I swear and I am honest, I have never been disappointed when repairing a motorbike anywhere. I also understand it, because every time I go to the workshop, my old motorbike is always repaired, so I think it is good, because my old motorbike after being repaired lasts a long time.

Even though it only lasted a few months, because my old motorbike was no longer suitable for use, because the engine was very bad, I still tried to repair it so that my old motorbike could actively carry out my daily work.

Do people appreciate the work of the shopkeeper? If you have personal experience, please tell us.

The Acehnese people are very peaceful and appreciate every job of the shopkeeper, However, I had an experience when repairing a motorbike a few months ago, I honestly did not intend to badmouth other people, But at that time there was a story of a little argument in the repair shop between a resident and the repairman.

This is an experience I once witnessed, when the man was repairing his broken motorbike, the mechanic who did his work in my opinion was very good, because the mechanic was included in the professional category. Then the man's motorbike was repaired very perfectly. After the repair was completed by the mechanic, the mechanic asked for a normal wage.

However, the man did not accept it because the requested wage was too high. The mechanic did not remain silent because he was tired of repairing the motorbike which took a very long time. This was what caused chaos in the workshop because the man did not accept wages that were too high. In the end, the mechanic gave in rather than let the problem get bigger.

That was the only experience I saw when I repaired my motorbike at the repair shop a few months ago.

I will talk about the three businesses you have chosen in your area later, but before that, I will say that one of the businesses is a barber shop. From where people get their hair cut.

In the evolution of time, today is the present time, but in those past times, those who now have barber shops or cut hair were from Indian men, it can be understood through the story. I never look down on any business or look down on it. Not only Indians or Hindus, but people of all religions have barber shops, I have also seen that Muslims in our area also have barber shops or barber shops.

Especially since you have a motorbike, in that case, you went to a motorcycle repair shop to get the motorbike fixed. Although it is a very old motorbike, you have fixed it here again and again and have repaired this motorbike many times.

Although the condition of the engine became very bad while repairing it, but after that, it was fixed again, Alhamdulillah, I am very happy to know.

Many prayers and love for you, move forward.

Yes, that's right. Thank you very much for your interesting comment.

I hope you're always in good health. I wish you continued success and continued success✨.
