"SLC-S25/W6-Movie Snapshots| Your life on Screen (Raid 1 and 2)
I participated in this new contest of Season 25, Week 6, organized in the Steem4Nigeria community. We are lovers of movies, but it is based on our individual choices in order to learn one or two things that can help us in our daily activities.
Watch a movie that reflects a part of your identity, culture, or experience.
The movie I watched that reflects my personal identity and experience is Raid 1 and 2. It's an Indian movie that is based on what is happening in our society. A tax income officer who is not afraid of anybody, especially the most powerful man, would raid their mansion through the strong evidence he acquires from some whistleblowers. He has the courage to enter anyone's house; when he enters, he always finds something. He has been transferred more than 46 times in the last 7 years.
I gained a lot of experience from this movie because poverty is not the main problem affecting us, but the rich people who are stealing from us are the ones that do not allow development to happen. Corruption is the identity of all our politicians because the money meant for country development is now diverted to their pockets.
Poor people are the ones who suffer the most, and rich people are getting richer every day. This movie relates how some ministers in various countries misbehave by stealing public funds.

Mention 5 things from the movie that motivated you to keep pushing in life.
Watching movies has a lot of advantages because the lessons we learn help us pursue our goals. The five things that continuously motivate me in these movies are described below:
➡️Be honest: Watching that movie inspires me that we can earn good money through hard work and by focusing on what we are doing. Being honest plays a crucial role in human life because we can earn respect from the love of people. Another thing that also motivates me is to never be greedy, no matter what position we find ourselves in. Even if we are no longer exist people would still remembered us for the good we did on earth.
➡️Never quit: Amay Patnaik is fearless, and I learned that we must not quit in whatever we set our hands on, whether it may be a new business we start or a long-term goal we plan to achieve, because the person who quits will never win. Watching that movie does not encourage us to lose hope because some day all our efforts we be a successful one.
➡️Be a good leader: As a leader, the safety of our team members must be our first priority, as it defines us as true leaders. Even if we want to be true leaders, we must act like good ones, as well as inform our team so that we can achieve our aims and objectives with our members. Amay Patnaik shows the qualities of a good leader and earns respect from all. If he doesn't carry his team along and motivate them to continue searching for valuable items, that raid may not be successful.
➡️Not relying on people: In the movie, we notice that Tauji ran helter-skelter to meet the powerful people who belong to the same political party as him. All the networks and strong connections he had did not favor him in return, but Amay Patnaik, with his small body and big engine, used his intelligence to conquer Tauji. This means that we should never rely on anyone for our survival; we must try our best to ensure we succeed so that the money we acquire will be legitimate.
➡️Patience: It's good to have patience because good things come to those who wait. If Amay Patnaik is not strong enough, he may not be able to overcome the raid. He allows his team to escape and waits for those valuable items with the good intention that he may return those items safely to the right department. In life, we must not rush; we should wait in order to acquire what belongs to us.
Who was your favorite character? And why?
My favorite character is Ajay Devgn. I always enjoy his movies because he has a lot of experience when it comes to acting. Ajay performs excellently in any of his movies, and people testify that he has been in the movie industry for a long time but keeps his privacy unlike other actors who love to show their lifestyle on social media.
Devgn has won many awards for the different roles he plays as well as for the effort he uses to make his fans enjoy his movies. It is always tough when it comes to action movies because it keeps everyone focused through his performance.
Mention at least 2 movies you have seen this year that inspired you and why they did.
The two movies I enjoy most in the year 2025 are stated below:
• Criminal: This is a Nigerian movie where hardened criminals bring the victims to the Lagos hospital that is overwhelmed by a lot of patients waiting to be attended to. The victims suffer from bullet wounds, so they want the best doctor to immediately attend to them.
Although the victim is one of the brothers of those criminals, whose rich brother does all his best by offering him government contracts so that he can stop engaging in illegal activities, he later betrays his brother when one of the gang members shoots him in the back. What inspired me is that we must embrace any opportunity that comes our way because we may not see such an opportunity again.
• Seven Doors: It's a Nigerian movie that was released on the 13th of December 2024, produced by Femi Adebayo. It is a story of two lovers who love each other so much, where the chief visits him in his Lagos residence, and the people of Ilara want him to become their king. He refused the offer because it was not interesting. But he later accepted the kingship. Once he became the king, trouble began in the community. When the chief priest found out the solution to the problem, they asked the king to marry seven wives in order to correct the wrongs of his forefathers.
What is motivating in this movie is that we must never do evil because someday the upcoming generations who do not know our wrongdoing will suffer the most. We must do good always; someday we can earn good fortune in return.
I would like to invite @sana-khan01, @impersonal and @huraira50 to join me.

Upvoted! Thank you for supporting witness @jswit.
Thank you for participating in this challenge of season 25.
It's interesting to know that the movie reflected your personal experience. Cheers!
This movie really has a strong message. I’ve watched Raid too, and it honestly shows how one honest person can stand against a whole system. Amay’s character is powerful so calm, focused, and brave, even when everyone is against him.
He fights corruption and stays true to his duty is something we all can learn from. Life also feels like that sometimes,, when you're doing the right thing, not everyone supports you, but in the end, truth matters the most.
Really connected with your thoughts, it's not always about money sometimes it’s about honesty and intention. Movies like this stay in your mind for a long time.🙌✨🌸
