Diary Game: Celebrating my Sister's 10th Marriage Anniversary :(22nd June, 2025)

I bring you warm greetings and heartfelt regards from my humble aboard. I trust you all are in good health and high spirits despites the economy. What a memorable and fulfilling experience to o partook in my sister’s 10th marriage anniversary that took some weeks of careful planning. As the date drew near, I and her friends joined her in organizing the event, ranging from balloting for venue selection to creating the guest list and helping the couples choose their color theme. Obviously we spent days brainstorming ideas, booking vendors for different items, and however finalizing the event program. The event was suppose to be small with just a few selected friends and invitees but surprisingly the participants turn out to be much than expected 😄 that's my country for you 😄

Let me gist you about it 😆 We woke up early in the morning to start preparing a variety of delicious dishes, including chicken casserole also known here as (peri-peri), goat meat pepper soup, jellof rice and white rice, fried meat, and small chops. The kitchen buzzed out with activity, fun, jokes,laughter, comics and the warm aroma of simmering from healthy and natural spices. They cooking started quite on time as the event was scheduled to take place by 4pm. Hence, Imy duty was majorly supervision, but I had to help out with the cooking, then, I headed to the event arena to ensure the decorators were following the plan.

I couldn't believe my eyes, wow... 😲 the decoration team transformed the space so beautifully with blue, white and green and the with nice flowers. I was indeed satisfied with their progress, much later I hurried back to the kitchen to ensure everything is going on well and the cooking finished on time. Getting there, the aroma from the dishes had filled the air, hey!!! this created a mouthwatering atmosphere that made everyone eager to taste to foods. Thereafter the food were packed into a buffer and coolers awaiting to the guest 😊 Once everything was in place, I went to my room freshen up, and got dressed in my outfit for the event. With so much excitement in my heart, also went to my sister's room to check on her makeup and dressing, she was so gorgeous 🥰 I returned to the venue just to receive the guests and took them to their sits.

At about 4:15pm the event kicked off with a warm welcome and music from the Dj, followed by opening prayer by the Bishop then an
the chairman of the occasion gave an inspiring speech. And we moved into next agenda as let by the Mc which was the moment everyone had been waiting for the couple was called out to the dance floor, where they performed "How much you know your spouse game" and of cos the wife won the game. It was really fun time for the couple and everyone followed by cutting of the cake and the dance show. Everyone danced joyfully, cheers and applauded celebrants and family.

The atmosphere was filled awesome with lots of love and gratitude. Moreso we all pop out friends and cheers to them for many more years of celebrations. Afterward, different ministries offered prayers to the couple, asking God for continued blessings and unity in their marriage. Lastly, guests were entertained with musics,m and delicious meals. However, some thoughtful gifts, tokens of appreciation from loved ones were given to the couples. As the event came to a close, I really felt proud and fulfilled to have been a part of such a special event celebrating milestones. It was a beautiful celebration of love, family, and lasting commitment. Then we all took pictures before we retired home.
