Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest Week 91: Not what you think

Aslam o alikum everyone

There are many times in our lives when we are on one side and the whole world is on the other side, but standing firm is our strength. If we take even one step back, we will join the rest of the world, moving towards failure
.

Today I will tell you an incident from my life in which at first everyone thought I was wrong, but with the passage of time everyone realized that I was not wrong, in fact everyone liked the decision I made and everyone felt proud of me.

About a year ago today, my grandfather had a heart attack. I was 16 or 17 years old. When he had a heart attack, only my mother, grandmother, elder sister and I were present at home. No men were present at home.

When he had a heart attack, I remembered that I had read somewhere that if a heart attack patient is given a disprin pill immediately, it thins their blood and is beneficial for them.

This was such a big risk in my life that I had taken the first step until now but I could have done anything to save my grandfather's life. This was my first thought. I ran to my room and got a disprin pill and started giving it to my grandfather. My grandmother, mother and sister stopped me and scolded me, saying, "Why are you doing this? It could put his life in even greater danger. You should never give a patient a pill like this without the prescription of doctor or anyone else"

I told my mother, "Mother, listen to me. I had read somewhere that if you give a disprin pill, it is beneficial for those who have heart problems."

She didn't listen to me. I request as much as i can. Finally, when my mother and grandmother went here and there to call a man from the house, I quickly put a disprin pill under my grandfather's tongue. I was very scared because I did this even though everyone told me not to. I felt that if something bad happened, this would be my last day in this house.

And if something had happened to my grandfather because of me, I would never have been able to forgive myself, but would have considered myself guilty for this mistake for the rest of my life.

Only ten minutes had passed. Grandfather's health was deteriorating. My father came home quickly and took him to the hospital.

When the doctor came out, he said, "Thank God you brought him on time and he felt much better after giving him a disprin pill. If this pill had not been brought, I don't know if his condition would have been even worse today."

My mother once looked at me with stern eyes because I had done this despite her prohibition, but everything was fine because Grandfather's health had improved.

When Grandpa returned home after recovering from the hospital, he told this to my father and Grandpa praised me a lot. He said that raising girls by educating them is also a blessing, that is why I say that I educate your daughters well so that they can stand on their own feet and become independent.

I like this saying of Grandpa very much. He always supports us and is a means of sharing happiness with us. With the passage of time, everything gets better. We just need to be patient.

After this incident, I realized that if you are walking on the right path and people are telling you all kinds of things, then you should close your ears and walk on this path and show yourself to be successful so that the mouths of those who speak up are shut
.
