The first job of my life and the first person I met that I had never seen before will always be a memorable experience for me. In May 2004, I joined my first company as a salesman in the marketing department. I never thought that, Head office, Dhaka, Bangladesh, and I have to join Khulna Bagher Hat from Dhaka. I am a bit nervous, because my home is in Noakhali. Anyway, what else will I do if I get a job? I have to join. I left directly for Khulna. I reported to the Khulna branch office in the morning. The manager of that office was very happy to see us and welcomed us very well. It felt like we had known each other for a long time, then I realized that this was the marketing policy. I was nervous at first, but after going there, I felt very good.

Explain your understanding of the saying first impressions matter a lot?

Naturally, the first pressure in life will be important, because if you move forward with any goal, you have to put a little pressure or even take a risk. I liked going to the office at first, but when I went to the market on the first day, and I had to go step by step on each route, I couldn't adapt to anything at that time. The first day, the first pressure is really important. The pressure of this first day, says Presser, "No matter what you say, if you can make it mentally, then success will come, and it will become easier later."

Tell us about your recent experience of a first impression of something or someone.

I am currently under a lot of pressure at work, which is hard to explain in your language. A new officer has been appointed to our office in the past few days. The day he first came to our office, our office director, Madam, called me and introduced me to him, and asked me to explain to him all the activities of my department. What do we do? How do we work and give him the complete job description? Daily, weekly, and monthly work details have to be given. When suddenly a new officer asks for such work details or asks him to give them by mail, it feels a bit bad, and I feel annoyed with myself. I have been working in this department for almost 10 years. I am doing the work that needs to be done. There is nothing to do since the director's office is saying from the office. However, there is no mistake in my work. Due to this, I feel less pressure mentally.

Tell us how people can make first impression positively count.

First of all, any work or pressure must be considered positively; otherwise, you will not be successful in any work in life. If I cannot tolerate the pressure of any work at first, then the pace of work on the first day will also depend on how fit you are for this work. So the success of your next job depends on the first pressure or task. Therefore, you should always accept the first task or pressure as a positive.
