We work in our every day life, maybe while working we might have had accident in our homes, workplace, or anywhere which could actually lead to improper balance of impairment of balance in the body. Having fractures of bones in the body always make someone to feel very very uncomfortable.
Well it happened to me that while i was playing football in the field with my cousin, i wanted scoring a goal for my opponents, the opposite opponents kicked my ankle with his boots, and i was immediately taken to the pharmacy, but that was a very long time.
Well let me go straight to the point by answering the following questions below;
Meaning of balance: Balance can be defined as the capacity to maintain one's body posture, position, firmness, steadiness and durability. We only have two types of balance and it includes the static balance and dynamic balance.
Static balance; this refers to the capacity or capability to control body position either by standing or stationary position. A static balance involve strength to over come any external forces such as, wind resistant, gravity, push or pull force's and friction.
Dynamic balance; on the other hand this refers to the capacity to maintain the body position while moving in different positions. It entells the ability to change in different positions such as running, skipping, and jogging.
Meaning of coordination; this actually means the ability to unite and fuse every body part, and sense organs to accomplish a special or specific goals or chore.
Meaning of pathophysiology;this refers to the study of how external and internal disease or injuries affect the body system.
The causes that lead to balance and coordination impairment include;
- Neurological disorder
- Internal ear problems
- Head injuries
- Spinal cord damages
- Fractures
- Ageing
Note that Ageing is part of it, that is to say that age is related to the causes that can lead to balance and coordination of impairment.
While i was coming i got tired from trekking from a very long distance, so i decided to use bike so that it will be better for me to reach the house. Fine the bike man took me to the house, when i wanted to come down i lost mu balance and fell down and hit my one side of my leg. So i decided to carry out two exercise which is back walking and single leg lifts squats.
- Back walking. I did that by walking backwards and also for the single leg lift squats i did that balancing with one leg and raise the other leg that i hit up then squats up and down using a straight balance out to regain stability.
Well from my inspection the leg pain was gradually going/lessen down.
